The current market is a NPC driven ecconomy with no price fluctuations. I do know that we wont get trading or a player driven ecconomy but i would like to have something else. Instead of a player market allow us to sell our gear back to NPC's for the full price. This way we could finally get rid of salvage that we dont use from pub matches or the random junk from PC matches. All you have to do is add a option below restock which says "sell". Then the usuall pop up appears how many you want to sell.
This way you would make alot of players happy and i aswell know that officer weapons have a hidden pricetag. For example the balacs GAR-21 assault rifle costs 126,495 ISK each. So for a newbie who received this at the end of the match its like a nice additional payment. When he gets back to the merc quarter he can look after it in his assets to sell it or keep it if he wants to use it at some stage. For LP items you could aswell give LP and ISK back. |

I said this in the other thread, but the issue is that the Dust market is the same as the EVE market, and there is no way to sell to an NPC in the EVE market. They would need to do quite a bit of back end work to make that happen since it would be adding a non- existant system to the EVE economy system.
Like my ideas?

In eve there are NPC buyorders for certain items which you can obtain. |

Hmmm I suppose that's fair. I wonder how much would need to be done to retrofit that for Dust though.

So, a script to create NPC buy orders for all DUST items in each of the 48 DUST systems.
Heck, CCP could create the buy orders EVE side, and then only have to work on the interface and the mechanic of the purchase DUST side.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I have posted this before and totally support it even if it was at all fraction of the original price.
It is likely that a client update would be required tho

I like this idea and thank it would be great for getting rid of junk. The only thing is that with a player market you could sell junk and obtain other players worthless possessions for a cheaper price. I believe this is what was intended when the idea popped up but I may be wrong. I don't know that much on the topic but we do need something to get rid of worthless items. $$$ |

As mentioned in other related threads the desire for something of this nature is very well known and I feel pretty confident that if a method which is within the reach of current tech/resources is hit upon then we will see a feature of this nature in game.
Just to be 100% clear, I am saying I believe that CCP is willing to do this if it is deemed resource possible What I am NOT saying is this feature is locked in expect it in XYZ time frame.
It is certainly understood that something of a market nature is desired by the community o7
Cheers, Cross
See a cool idea thread? Mail me the title and I'll take a look =)

Mentioned havingva sell button under assets several times in here now. Seeing as the prices of the market are fixed then its a simple code that just gives you avfixed price. You GOTO assets, hit x and select sell. Even if it gave you 50% of the base price back it'd be worth it. Hell I'd even take 100isk just to clear out vsome the crap I have no use for
Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience

It would espacially usefull to sell the stuff we get from salvage. Like weapons or suits we get from PC matches but we cant use them due to the lack of SP invested. Even if it would be 50% from the weapons worth it would still be nice. Cause every 1 probs got some creodron breach AR's and they are 77,280 ISK worth each. I think we get 3 of them from salvage, cut 50% off from that and you end up with a nice little extra of about 115,920 ISK.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!

That's an often asked decent request.
One comment though - no LP refund, LP should be earned. It's fundamentally different to currency.
People would enjoy Dust a lot more if they accepted the fact that EVERYTHING is subject to change
