I feel that Even though the Native Gain on the Gallente Suits was a much needed bonus it still doesn't feel like it's enough to make a difference on a Armor tanking suit in general.
Here is what I think would be meaningful native repair rates for the Gallente.
Gallente Light Frames: Basic: 2.5 hp/s Scout: 3 hp/s
Gallente Medium Frames: Basic: 3.75 hp/s Assault: 4 hp/s Logistics: 4.5 hp/s
Gallente Heavy Frames: Basic: 1 hp/s Sentinel: 1.5 Commando: 2
All Minmatar suits gain 1 hp/s across the board.
see you space cowboy...

While I do agree the Gallente heavy should have the lowest Native repair of all the Gallente suits there should be an incentive to not just purely Stack Armor Plates.

I think sentinel should get 2 and the Logi should keep it's 2 per second.
4.5 would just give us the old GalLogi everywhere thing we had not long ago.

By the same logic we should discourage the Caldari from stacking shield extenders too, right? I mean they have an innately superior shield delay and regen values so obviously all they would ever do is stack extenders and that would ruin then game.
1 armor repairs is a drop in the bucket for a heavy suit, especially if said heavy stacks plates. Depending on how much armor you have that means that it would literally take the entire game to completely heal yourself with innate reps only. Medium and scout suits recover more quickly, as is obviously apparent for any shield user if you read the stats on the suits.
Just because you shield users have lower HP (like you should) than armor users doesn't mean that armor users should either walk around half dead all the time or have no armor at all.
Your strength is recovery rate, so I suggest you plan on how to use it better than complaining about how the race whose focus is armor regen tanking have almost insignificant amounts of innate armor reps. |

I say give every suit at least a 1 HP/Sec passive armor repair. (Gallente suits should get more.) Then Armor Repair modules would no longer be a mandatary part of every fitting.
The fact that Caldari suits which are supposed to be shield tanked are forced to equip an Armor Repair or a Reactive plate in their vary limited number of low slots is ridiculous.

Not entirely true. Nobody forces you to have an armor rep (I run Calscout without them) and even then, you could run a compact nanohive (or k17 or allotek, or wirkomi) or two for personal use to rep your armor, if you wan't to have an armor rep at all.
Now, I wouldn't be against a 1hp/s rep on all suits, but you have to be careful not to give gallente too much natural rep/second (in fact, I would replace their built in rep, for a bonus to armor rep effectiveness- say 50-100% affectiveness) otherwise they would have no reason to spend a single slot on anything other than armor plates. |

4.5HP/s on the Logistics would cause the return of the Slayer Logi,

Assaults are getting an HP buff and a speed buff so I disagree with Medium's having best native armor reps, considering that they currently have medium native reps.... I've been rep tanking my Gal Scout since chromosome, rep tanking is really a light frame thang, just saying. I think it's opposite for shields though.....Cal sents rep tank to high hell.

If Gallente have at the moment 2hp/s (assault) that's just to say "gallente has a passive repair" 4.5 ? that's so much ! You shouldn't need 2 complexe armor repair... No 3hp/s why not ? but at this moment, add 1hp/s for ALL assault (Amarr, Calda, Minma) |
