I think I was one of the few...if not the ONLY person to see the Legion announcement and not be pissed off at CCP wanting to rage on the forums.
When I heard they admitted Dust wasn't working on the PS3 and they wanted to make the new game on PC I was super excited because they explained how there would be less restrictions, ultimately letting them build a better, more complete game.
I had faith in CCP that obviously they would let us bring our characters over to the new game eventually, even before they announced the plans for doing that. Heck I would have been fine even if we had to start over from the beginning as long as Dust sticks around.
Which was another thing, I knew that CCP didn't make the Legion announcment to say "Dust is dead, please stop playing our game", they just wanted to show off their cool tech demo and get praise for it. Except that they forgot to mention their plans for Dust.
Heck, I bet the community's reaction would have been so much better if they had thought about it and said "We are planning to bring multiple community driven balancing hotfixes here in the new few months as well as more unique events that we hope you will all enjoy. Now that Legion is a possibility, we want to make Dust a more full and completed/polished game instead of just abandoning it"
