So i have some sp to spend and i figure since the Calscout is getting nerfed i might as well get a different suit. I've always been interested in the Minscout. Is it worth it?

I enjoy it, but it has always been the red headed step child of the scouts.
To this point, if scouts get nerfed, minmatar are disproportionately affected. They are harder to fit, and can have a very small niche if certain conditions exist (aka fully precisioned cal scout within a full squad).
Gal scouts have always been the most versatile with the number of lows they have.
So if you want a challenge, then yes.

I like it. It's got it's issues but it's a charming suit. If you're not a knifer though you might be better off in another suit as knifing is really the bread and butter of the suit.

BTW the Min Scout is a great NK and hacker, so its a very good infiltration/Hacking scout for CQ engagements.
WARNING: Skill is needed for it to work.

The only thing I don't like about the MinScout is blue and brown look so so bad together. Ugh... what a horrible color scheme. It should have been grey and blue, or black and blue. |

Don't know how I feel about this... I live in Florida and alot of people think what looks best are short shorts... I mean sure if you can pull it off, but *Shivers* I've seen some things... Things that would cost thousands of dollars in therapy just to bury it deep down.. |

It will be...NK will be awesome and we're getting a pg buff in addition to codebreakers being in the high slots, so you can run fast, NK peeps, and hack fast....pretty cool stuff is about to come my friend.I would definitely recommend going into minjas if you're into guerilla tactics and CQC with knives, or shotguns. Oh and technically the Minmatar scout is the fastest scout in the game....so it will definitely be worth it in Hotfix Charlie.
"One does not simply" run like a Raptor. Only mk.0 Scouts do that.

Typical response from someone that can't comprehend where I am coming from. Speccing into it didn't do anything for those galscouts that had damps and cloaks XD you were pretty useless against those as they don't have a counter. What I got out of your post is "I thought cal scouts were going to be the most op scout and now that it's not I want to go try something that is getting a buff" (Just like the community why the now sudden interest in a suit that is getting a buff why not specced in when it was the black sheep off all suits/weapons?) But what do I know I'm just a lowly Minmatar that loves stabbing and hacking. And BTW I'd love to see more Minjas just not under a "Minjas are getting a buff let's go FOTMers!" circumstance. |

Actually at the beginning of 1.8 i almost specced into the Minja but i figured " hey i have more experience with caldari suits" so i went with CalScout instead. I chose it to counter those damned bricked GalScouts and it worked wonders. Lol i never even took it to proto, but i guess I'm still a FOTMer because i specced into the suit even before it became a FoTM. Nice logic

It was considered FOTM before it came out if you kept up on the forums but hey you had a legit reason for going into cal I guess but did you spec into scouts just because we was getting a buff? I have a gripe with people chasing the next OP thing |

Nope. I also specced into scouts because sometimes blueberries just can't do anything and so i go solo. It's not easy going solo in a logi. Honestly i could care less about what becomes FoTM, I spec into what i like/need. If i wanted FoTM i'd spec into sentinels

So here we go. Im going to now have to spec into Amarr scout to hunt dampened scouts, so that then CCP decides its too op and nerfs it, so then me and the other scouts will be disappointed once more with the game and flood the forums with respec threads... Then the anti respec t00rds will start fighting us again...forum 5h1tstorm...CCP never learns huh...
