This is one that anyone can get behind.
after the officer weapons are released, have a one week event in which you get weapons for killing people of other meta levels.
Rules of this event:
- Kills with a millitia weapon will be excluded.
- Kills with a vehicle will be excluded
Meta points will be scored by adding the total meta of those you've killed.
for example, If someone's using all advanced gear with a meta of 2, and 8 total items equiped, that's 18 META points.
these points will be acumulated and at the end of the event will be cashed in for weapons.
here is the point scoring:
20 points - Officer weapon
15 points - Prototype
10 points - Advanced
5 points - Basic
1 point - sidearm ( basic )
the points will be totaled up like change, the most expensive weapons first.
the limit of these weapons goes in this order.
50 - Officer
100 - Prototype
200 - Adcanved
400 - Basic.
once the basic cap is reached, the winnings will alternate between basic and side arms.

Not a terrible idea but that scoring system is almost guaranteed to be more work than they are willing to put in to an event.
Keep it simple.
Every 10 kills with proto nets 1 officer weapon of the same type with a maximum of 10 awarded for each weapon type. This way it is not super grindy and everyone has the ability to get a few weapons of their choice to play around with. Maybe throw in a bonus like use of an LP proto or AUR proto allows the cap to reach 15.
