Raven noticed someone familiar. "John..." He was saying before a merc crashed into him. "Son of a *****." Raven cursed as he got onto his feet, grabbing his Rail Rifle as he did so. "Here we go!"

The door to the preperation room opened with a hiss as Hawkeye emerged from it in a sprint towards the 'Drop-Hole'; the metallic clangs of his armoured boots against the floor reverberating in the cabin, he pushed past another mercenary GÇöcausing him to fall on all foursGÇö and jumped.

This was the part he had grown to enjoy the most, for a brief period before he entered the actual battle. The wind gushed past as he indulged in his fantasy of being able to fly freely, as the common bird.

The ground drew close. But it was not close enough... Not late enough... He ignored the red blinking light; the voice in his head (or at the very least, the voice that pretended to be in his head); and only raised his arms to summon the blue flames of his inertia dampener when the ground was close enough to touch. A bad practice he had started long ago, and never shook.

"Race you to the hot zone." A brief shot of static came from his squad radio.

"You're on kid." The Captain said as he landed in front of hawk and runs towards the field

Hawk let out a chuckle.

"Kid? I'll have you know I've been doing this since before you were in the glint of the cloner's eye"

"Dweu, Hawky." she shouted to him

Jonny landed a few seconds after Hawk. He was drunk, but not an idiot and had activated his inertia dampener before he hit the ground. Taking a few seconds to compose himself he looked around and heard Hawk calling out for a race.

Yeah, like I can race them in this fat suit, he though as he called in an LAV. He sat there and watched as a Bolas pilot, that he swears was as drunk as him, dropped his custom made Methena dropped to the ground. It was black with bright head lamps and a blaster turret attached to the gunner bay. On side front fender was the symbol of Mors Effera, Skull with Cross Swords ontop of a silver Phoenix.

Jonny climbed into the driver seat and started the engine. 'Anyone need a lift? I swear I'm not that drunk!'

Several mercs began overtaking Hawkeye, who was laden by his heavy frame and gear.



Hearing a familiar voice, Hawkeye turned his head behind his shoulder, and saw a matari pilot waving at him, which the Tacnet quickly identified as Junko. He stopped in his tracks, and began to walk over to her.

"Hey, Junko" He held his hand out to shake. "You mind giving me a lift in whatever ride you are bringing in?"

((Signing off - I'm loosing visual on you; In a few seconds I won't be able to track you. Feel free to take control of me so you can haul my fat ass into the ship))

a slight smile from within her helmet emerged as she grabbed Hawkeye-s hand and shook it gently, discounting the small fact that his hand nearly engulfed hers.

"i dont mind, just hold up for the RD- ahh speak of the devil" Junko started as she saw the RDV pilot carefully drop the Python-class dropship 5 meters from Both Junko and hawkeye. she wasted no time in clambering up to the cockpit and sitting on on the pilot's seat.
flipping in a few buttons and switches, the Twin thrusters as well as the other 4 smaller ones roared to life, as she took hold of the controls.
" Welcome to Condor airlines, this is your captain speaking, here to remind you to keep your damn hands and feet inside my ship at all times. " Junko said mischeviously as she took her helmet off and began maneuvering the controls.

as soon as hawkeye and a few others climbed inside, the pushed the throttle to maximum and took in the adrenaline as her dropship began its steady climb over the huge compound in front of her and her crew.

Jonny looked up as Junko's dropship flew over head. Turning to Raven he said, 'Jump on the gun and blast any enemies you see.' He put the LAV in gear and took off, following the dropship on the ground.

While driving, Jonny took one hand off the wheel and popped open the glove compartment. Inside was a half drunken bottle of whiskey. He screwed the cap off and started to drink. After a few gulps he offered some so Raven, 'Want some? It helps calm your nerves!' Jonny started laughing as he floored it.

Jonny looked up as Junko's dropship flew over head. Turning to Raven he said, 'Jump on the gun and blast any enemies you see.' He put the LAV in gear and took off, following the dropship on the ground.

The Captain notices the LAV speeding towards him. He Jumbs up at the last second and lands in the passenger seat. He continues fireing on hostiles and grabs the bottle from Jonny's hand

"Thanks mate."

He glugs down half of what's in the bottle and throws it to Raven. He blasts more enemies and laughs

Jonny looked in shock at Captain jumped into the passengers seat, took his driving booze, and drank it all. He reached over and slapped him on the back of the head. And pointed to the glove box. 'Hey! Get that other bottle out of there, and don't be greedy this time. It should be labeled XXX. Mac's special moonshine!'

Jonny slowed down a bit to check his map and noticed Blux was over by Echo. He floored it and turned the LAV down a dirt path leading directly to the objective. He flicked on his scanner.

On the way Jonny turned his radio communicator on. 'Blux I see you are at Echo, me Raven and Captain are heaving towards your position.' He then said to Raven and Captain, 'Alright boys we may be going in hot so weapons ready. And please, don't shoot the LAV, I just had the paint job done!'

The Captain throws Jonny his drink a and reloads his weapon

Blux was hacking Echo when she heard Johnny. "We've got hostile's to the east, hit them for me will ya?"

"VIRUS UPLOAD COMPLETE" Aura chimed in.

Blux turned and was met by a shotgun wielding scout, which she easily disposed of. "They're at Echo! Little help?"

As Jonny neared Echo, he turned to the boys and shouted 'Bail out now!' As they bailed out of the LAV, Jonny floored it and aimed it for the tank. Right before he hit the tank, he jumped out, the car exploded against the side of the tank. It didn't destroy it but it damaged it enough to scare it away. Jonny smiled an evil grin and said 'Here's Jonny mother f**kers!'

As he began to stand up, a scout came up behind Jonny and shot him in the back with a shotgun. Quickly he turned and blasted the scout before he could finish him off. Jonny was badly wounded and he ran towards a house. There he reloaded and prepared himself for a final stand.

He noticed he was not the only one on the ground as those in Junko's dropship had arrived seconds before him. Jonny still decided to hold up in the house. He turned on his comms and said 'In desperate need of reps. Located 30 meters north east of the objective inside the building. Heading to back door to secure location.'

As he turned around to go out the back door, two sentinels tailed by a logi with a six kin repair tool came in. One of the sentinels was Caldari, the other was an Amarr. 'Oh f**k me...'

Jonny knew he had only one chance to eliminate them. He hid around a corner and charged a flux grenade. He counted to three and loosed it. It hit it's target true and shattered the Caldari's shield, leaving him to die in a matter of seconds to Jonny's HMG.

The Amarr, on the other hand, was well fitted to withstand the effects of the Flux and a duel between armour heavies began. They strafed backed and forth, trying to gain the advantage over the other. Jonny was faster due to his rep mods but the Amarr was tankier and had constant reps. Jonny knew this would be the end, but he continued to fight.

In the end there was only two men standing in the corridor of the building. Jonny, with very little armor left and the logi who switch to his assault rail rifle. There was only a second of stillness, then they both fired.

In the end, Jonny laid on the ground. Body broken, armor destroyed. Death was creeping up on him. And as he laid there his mind took him on a trip into his past and he remembered. He remembered the lives he saved, and the lives he destroyed. He remembered the love that he gain and the love he lost. He remembered his brother, his father, and his daughter who hasn't seen since he became a clone.

A tear rolled down his cheek as he remembered all these things, though no one ever saw it underneath his helmet.

Then nothing.

Nothing but darkness. His clone had been terminated and he was shrouded by death. Time seemed to flow on endlessly. What would be a mere second to the living seemed like hours to Jonny. Then, midst the darkness, a light shown through. He smiled in the darkness and said 'Here we go again!'

Jonny woke near the objective. His armor repaired and his weapon in hand. He couldn't recall the darkness. But he remembered his death, and he remembered why he was fighting. And most importantly, he remembered how to kill.

"Hey Johnny, I got that Logi for you, but his friends came up from behind and got me." Raven told Johnny as he pulled his two Nova Knives out. "This skirmish is about to end, you still going to fight?" Raven yelled as he carved through a redberry.

Raven noticed the heavy standing before him, his gun starting to fire. "Well fu** me again." Raven charged the heavy burning slicing through the shields and armour with a single cut.

"Johnny, you seeing this?" Raven asked Johnny. Other mercenaries were being pulled out of the battle, with the exception of his squad. Raven watched the men and women disappear, wonder what was happening. The Mobile Command Centers were both leaving now.

"Junko, Blux, Hawk, Captain, meet Johnny and me in the center of the valley. Some strange sh*t happening here."
