I know that not all tankers like to play dom because of how many redline tanks there are and so on....
I'm here to propose attempting to separate oms and ambush again, idk if that is possible but I believe that it would be a lot better then just getting rid of vehicles completely...
Lets just say a lot of people see me and run.....
I'll leave it at that.

I'd actually like to see this, but... I'd probably never touch OMS again. If I want to deal with tanks, I'll do it when I don't have to worry about half the enemy team sitting around the next corner.

I am a tanker and i quite never play ambush but if i got just a few of time ambush is good but at the same time with my alt when i play ambush i just want a deathmatch not an AV match ,so in my opinion is good to separete them

Would much prefer to have a choice between ambush and ambush OMS. If they ran the numbers, bet OMS would win in times chosen.
Funny thing is that a year ago, I QQd about tanks in ambush. Was told to adapt and HTFU. So I did by skilling into AV. Now that I'm loving the role, they take vehicles out of ambush. WTF?

Keep it the same. I hardly ever see tanks in ambush. Besides, tanks has been neutered. A quick switch to swarms or FG will do the trick. |

it was dumb of ccp to make ambush and ambush oms in the same selection. DUMB. i said it. taking it back to the old selection split is a good thing.

And you also don't have to fight them in their redline if you so choose. Most maps are large enough that they would more than likely need to come out to shoot at you. Or you go to them, in which case you are choosing to put yourself at a disadvantage you don't need to do.
I do understand that ambush OMS presents no opportunity to hide from another tank, which is one reason I liked hunting tanks in it. Still yet though, as a mode based on killing to win as opposed to the objective based play, a tank is simply too much of a force modifier. They really don't fit in with the mode.
And I must mention the way it skews the favor to the team that gains vehicle dominance from the start. Making it hard in some maps to get a tank down safely to properly engage the dominate team.
