I think ADS are pretty ok against AV.
Dropships VS Anti-vehicle is always going to be a struggle.
Biggest problem with dropships is the Collision damage. If you touch a Boloch? insta death... You touch a MCC? insta death.. .You bump into a wall? near insta death.
Collision damage should be drastically reduced. Just make them a little more error friendly in a fight and noob friendly.
Sure skilled players can make them effective.. But they can make anything effective..
Making them STUPID easy to hover and float in the air..was just lazy.
The Camera should of been made and tweaked to perfection.. It is probably some of the worst Camera work in a video game since Playstation 1 games.
And collision damage drastically reduced.
The player should of had to learn how to use their throttle finger to keep it in the air and balanced.
It's like CCP goes... "What is the easiest laziest way we can do something, and then let's do that" |

my only complaint about all dropships is that all AV is designed to pump out enough damage to kill TANKS
while my dropship sits in the corner taking crossfire from the HAV AV debate

Not really, AV is balanced around Dropships as well.
The only thing that actually takes a backseat are LAVs, and I don't think many people care about them.

Though what about the Breach forge gun, that 'thing' at Porto level does over 2000 damage...
It can 1 shot a Incubus with its shield out...
And remove the shields entirely of most pythons...
And why does the aussult variant do more damage than the normal? Those stats should be changed, because every assault weapon does less damage for higher rof.
