DUST Search - 47/4 with a Mass Driver?

Before you all yell at me, apparently I had my Freedom in the "secondary" slot of the commando instead of the primary one so the scrambler showed up as the "favorite" weapon. I use the scrambler to weaken them, and go in for the kill with the mass driver. Works amazing against heavies and shield scouts.

Granted I did get like 10 kills with orbitals that match, so I won't lie there.
but 37 for a single domination...in a commando...with a Mass Driver main? Not bad.

I played 4 Ambush matches today before I gave up and switched to dom. I did get a 16/1 match in the city, but every other map was an open map where the enemy could just snipe me with RRs all day long and I had no height advantage or cover.

My last good match of the day was 23/2, another domination this time but no orbitals because padded stats are lame and I wanted more MD kills lol

Videos will come later after the weekend/event so I can have more time killing things. There's actually quite a lot of epic kills (and ragdolls with people flying everywhere), so I look forward to putting this one together. I need to sleep now, but wanted to share that I WILL be naming the Mass Driver, and that unelss you can no-life harder than me this weekend you might as well just not waste your time.

It also doesn't have the regen capabilities of the armor commandos. Speed is nice, but not having any jump height from being a heavy means you die too quickly. I don't enjoy camping in one place the entire match, but if I get to a high point above the enemies I will use it to my advantage. It wasn't your primary. This is probably the only way to get the Officer MD naming rights, because I highly doubt the winner will be using the traditional Flux + MD combo and getting these kinds of scores. The only thing you get from this event is 30 copies of the weapon and the ability to name it. They will then become loot drops just like the rest of the officer weapons so you can then use other people's named weapons! Well, you are doing about 20% more damage overall because of damage profiles. Even more if you have Proficiency, and even more with the ScR because Amarr Commando. Overall, I'd say you're doing about 140% damage overall. A rough estimate. My best match on Dust, 23/6/4 Placon. Please unnerf ScPs and fix IoPs...

Sorry man, but if you're not using the strengths of the suit, you're putting on a handicap. Nope, the guns that are good stay good even on non-reinforcing suits. MD is a perfectly viable gun on most attack suits. ScR is also, so its really a matter of picking your poison. I use every weapon on my Gcom, but most if not ALL of my fittings have a GPR, with whatever else as backup. Putting the CR on a non MC isnt a bad idea, the CR is a boss gun all by itself with no bonus. Sure if you bump into a proto MC with it is like but good guns are still Observe the public trust. Protect the innocent. Uphold the law.
