Lol I did this yesterday for the 1st time ever because I saw Kalente Schiffer doing it..crazy, it does not work for me to be honest. I always run EWAR scout with 311 armour 87 shield sometimes 233 shield depending on who is in my squad.

Yeah.. with this upcoming patch both my proto suits are screwed.
My Gal Logi has been screwed since the day it was "fixed".
My Cal Scout is meant to be a precision scan scout, but yet CCP is changing the bonus to scan range.

I was all for the respecs in 1.8, but watching everyone run to FoTM suits was just a sad experience, everyone was saying they want to spec into the suits they wanted then poooof there appeared more scouts than i could fit into a sandwich.
so this time i am saying no, everyone will just jump to the amarr scout.

The Amarr scout will be the next OP suit, i too agree and predicted it in CCP Rattitis Hotfix discussion.

Yup, I can understand minor changes like a few extra/les CPU/PG or moving a low slot module to a high slot module. Increasing HP on an amour or shield module- I get it! but not completely changing something, its a complete overhaul everytime. I think we should be allowed full respecs after all this time playing we have only ever had partial repecs.

Eve players don't complain about "misspent" SP when bonuses are changed. I'm at a loss as to why people in Dust do...

Well, I specced Caldari Logi at release, it got nerfed.
I then specced Gallente and Calrdari scout at the latest suit respec and both got nerfed.
Now I am on an alt (My main will be retired due to lack of Challenge) and I went for an Amarr scout/scrambler pistols only setup... (Well, I migh add lasers too)
My plan is to grind passives for 3 monhs and then go at it, I specced Amarr scout (With the 600 SP I had so far) about 2 weeks ago, no way anyone should ever claim me being a FOTM Chaser ever again, and then this happens.....
Though I am quite scared of the "future sidearm rebalance" - please don't screw With the scrambler pistol....

I'm actually not against it this time. Weapons are more balanced that they've ever been, the FotM's are being addressed at a steady pace and letting everyone make a choice on what to spec into without worrying about what's "PC ready" would be refreshing.
However, not until the general consensus is that Dust is just about balanced.

Eve players also don't have to actually play the game to earn a significant amount of SP. If a Dust player doesn't play the game they won't earn anywhere near a proportional amount of SP in comparison to the Eve player. So let's just stop these fcking attempts to compare two completely different games as if they're both apples instead of one being a rock and the other being a red-lipped batfish.
Can't say I'm all that surprised.
I've been drinking and may be drunk.... probably like most dust players.

Did you realize this before or after you skilled into the suit. Because Having read all the changes to active scanner you should have known that the Gal Logi was a ridiculous idea compared with the bonuses from the Minmatar Suit.
ALSO, passive scans are superior in just about EVERY WAY over active scans.
My ADV caldari Scout (3 high / 2 low) can fit 3 complex precision, 2 complex targeting range. I can sit cloaked in a corner while my team kills and no scouts have a chance to get in on them (other than a gal scout with a profile dampener). And if there is a gal scout who dares to do this I use the proto caldari scout with 4 highs for a fourth complex precision mod and then all is visible.
My point being, there is no need for a snap shot crap shot when you can see 360 degrees at 100% visibility for unlimited time and if your squad is good enough then they'll survive with one guy doing nothing but scanning.
