It would actually be a pretty good way to balance out the scouts abilities, they are light fast movers who can't carry extra ammo and need to return to base or a logi to resupply.
for the record, I run a proto galscout so inb4 calls of bias.

If they are only a half assed Logi, then its working as intended.
Just as Logis can half ass a scout or assault.
Its called variety, and its ok.
So long as one class can't out perform another classes intended role. Like Slayer Logis of old.

I'm all for undoing as many 1.8 Scout-buffs as possible.
Being a scout was more fun before 1.8. We'll get along with having only one equipment slot. |
