Say I'm hacking a supply depot, that takes 10 seconds.
Say I have a suit with 1x hacking multiplier, 25% hack speed from a bonus, and a complex codebreaker.
How fast would my hacking be?

10 * 0.75 * 0.75 = 5.625 seconds I would believe.

it's done in units per second. Starting at 1 unit and most things taking 10 units.
So with a minmatar scout that hacks at 1.10 units, with proto skill (1.10 * 1.25) and then with hacking 5 (1.10 * 1.25 * 1.25) and a single complex module of 25% (1.10 * 1.25 * 1.25 * 1.25) you end up with a hacking speed of 2.1484375 taking just a little under 5 seconds to hack most things.

Doesn't that imply that this makes their hacking slower?

Don't forget, the modules increase hacking speed, rather than reducing hack time.
If that makes sense.
So 50% to hacking does not half the hack time from 10s to 5s, it speeds up your hacking so that you do 10s worth of hacking in 6.6s.
There is a whole array of different factors that could affect it beyond this though. There may be stacking penalties, %age distortions etc etc.

I don't know what kind of math you guys are doing but my Gal Logi with 4 Complex Codebreakers hacks in just under 3 seconds.

25% * 4 = 100%
Plus one 25% passive bonus = 125%
Hacking at 225% speed should give you just over 4 seconds hack time based on my own mental arithmetic.
So I've got my maths wrong, the hacking model wrong, or you're judgement of time is wrong.
I really don't know which.

Minmatar scouts have 1.10, other scouts have 1.05 which is just a bit faster. Most logi's are at 1.10 or 1.15, the minlogi is at 1.20.

The modules have stacking penalties.
so 1st module is 25% (for complex)
second module is 21.73%
third module is 14.26%.
