So todaymy crew and i were doing our thing, skysharking around and having some fun when we got the maps for it. All night me and my crew were waiting for the most glorious installation to appear, the orbital cannon with the rings or 'the pocket' as we call it. Finally the map had arrived, ideal setup 5 point map. It was time tolay at our best.
Started off pretty normal, bunch of blues trying to get in with my squad, I tend to take off before they can get it. Nothing personal I just don't know you and can't communicate plus they could take a turret seat and shoot random stuff. Head to the pocket and start super hack operations. Things go pretty well at first, we lock down the map, two randoms joined our squad and I invited one to hop in and experience what its like to be a shock trooper, hope he had a good time.
Then the reds pushed hard and retook the inner 3 points. We aren't complaining tho, more work for the hacker and kills for my gunners. We drop into B and the hacker works his magic, then catastrophe. As I'm pulling out my fin guard catches the edge of the putter wall and flips my skyshark on to it causing catastrophic damage. I manage to bail surprisingly and land on the burning husk of my dropship. I can only manage saying "what th-" before it explodes.
The soul of the skyshark reached out and grabbed me, dragging me down under the map to skyshark hell. All around me I could hear roaring wind, the demons of my past dropships came to me there and I had to face all the horrors I had inflicted upon them. My squad mates told me my body remained above walking aimlessly, soulless, and some how my friend used an lav to bring me back to the mortal world. Out of the pit of my tormented dropship pilot soul. I told him, "get me out of here, I need to repent"
I called down another skyshark and drove it hard to the end, grabbing up some kills and securing the pocket. I never want to go back to skyshark hell... |

Standing on doomed vehicles is a guaranteed trip.
I was on top of a LAV once at the time of it's demise by a forge... Little did I know I would fall through the map on top of a black and red rubic's cube. Freaky stuff.
