I want to know what you think will make these weapons unique enough to feel worth using compared to their proto variants.
Or, if you have a creative idea for how they might function rather than just the usual mag/damage increase.
Mass Driver
-8 rounds
-Assault RoF or faster
-Greatly increased direct hit damage
-100% damage to vehicles :P
Plasma Cannon
-2 shots with 60 rpm (same as standard mass driver) :D
-Almost instant or no charge-up time
-Splash radius increase
Laser Rifle
-120 or 150 energy/clip size
-Overheats at 100 instead of 80
-Extended range
-Different colored laser (Purple? Green? GOLD?)
Scrambler Rifle
-Made of solid gold
-Insane headshot bonus like the scrambler pistol (but not too insane)
-Able to unleash almost a full clip without overheating if you have Amarr Assault 5
Shotgun
-Perfect hit detection (lol)
-Increased RoF to simulate the old prof bonus
-Either make it one shot almost all suits and reduce chamber to 4 or increase range.

I would rather see it have a crazy high charge shot than either of these bonuses. But solid gold for sure.

Why expect anything more special than current officer weapons?
Also, SCR with SCP headshot bonus + no overheat is OP as he'll even after considering it's an officer weapon.
I also imagine a different coloured laser beam would require a client update.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

The officer laser should overheat at 100 on a Proto Amarr Assault.
