Hi there!
So I'm wondering, is it difficult to be a SpeedRunner which do not appear on radar, is semi-invisible and have a good hp ?
Its seems easy for me, I used the shotgun on my logi for test, if you hit the first shot the aim-assist make sure you will hit the second shot.
Sooooo...it is or not? =P
Please stay still, my aim suck even with the reppTool =P

Your clearly slacking.
@OP No, not for the most part. Run a Range Amplifier, and get a Complex Profile Dampener and you'll never be caught by surprise by anything other than another Scout. Since you can see them coming from a good distance away, you should use a rifle instead of a Shotgun.
You'll have much more success that way. Though if you absolutely need the alpha, use Nova Knives or fill your 2nd equipment slot with an F/45 instead.

It's a lot easier for me to run this fit:
Scout g/1Series
Complex Dmg Mods x2 Complex Dampeners x2 Basic Cpu Upgrade
ZN-28 NKs SMG REs Ishukone Cloak
Than it is for me to run any medium frame and even a Heavy. My suit has no tank, but it does well at killing, running away, and hiding. |

So... this is a serious post? I'm still not quite certain... XD
Either way, I'll try and answer that...
Simply put, it's different. Yes, you can have high HP, how that works out, I wouldn't really know on a scout. I can only speak for the Minmatar. If you know what you're doing, if you know how to avoid direct confrontations, know how to flank, when to and when not to engage and how to use all tools at your disposal, then... no, it's not "hard" so to speak, but it does require more thought than some of the other play styles. Most of the other suits have HP to back them up if you make a mistake, but they have less options, slower speed, etc. Scouts don't have that HP, making a mistake is usually an instant death. On the other hand though, if you build your suit right, you can more easily avoid those mistakes. Speed, shield recharge rate, and radar capabilities can make up for what the suit lacks, plus the ability to cloak as well, but it still comes at the price of HP. Is it easy? No, even once you get the hang of it, is it seriously hard... I'm not quite certain if its' the most difficult roll, but it's no cake walk. Scouting has actually gotten more difficult since 1.8 dropped, what with all the Caldari and Gallente scouts running around.
Once again, this is all from a pure Min scout, so take it as you will. I can't speak for the other suits nor will I try. If you're looking to get into the scout role and want at least a partial challenge from it, go Minmatar or Amarr, but if you're looking for the easy route, I'd say Caldari would be your best choice. *Shrugs* But hey, I'm biased, so...

The thing with scouts is that they're far from the easiest suits to use in the game (I give that to sentinels) However, they're extremely rewarding to anyone with brain-cells, which is why they're viewed as a whole as overpowered.

Thanks for the replies people
So scoult is for people who put brains over SHOT THAT RED DOT!!!
Thats explains the cloak scoults runing in the middle of a gunfire or open spaces thinking that no one will see then...until someone kill then =P
I dont want to use a scoult, hell i make tons of mistakes XD
I make the thread because its was starting to look so cheap for me, but now i think its looks more like its is over used.
I will try sometime using scout, minmatar of course, really like how they look.

Playing scouts is like CoD mode with an SR-71 or intel Sat in the Air all the time. You are fast, deal high alpha, see everyone on the map (except the cold blooded) and die if you're shot more than once.

I agree with Crimson, Min/Amarr Scouts are the harder versions of scout playstyle, but the one of the few cool things about these scouts is stamina regen and speed (at least speed for min). Running 11.12m/s is really awesome, the only problem is that you have Gal scouts who can also run 11.11 (pretty negligible compared to 11.12) and they get more eHP than Min scouts, AND lower base profile from passive dampening. With the Min scouts you do get NK, but again, speed and stealth are destroyed when you're seen by Cal scouts, who basically give their entire team your location through shared vision. So you end up having to play even smarter with the Min scout, but I kind of like it. For me it's gotten to the point where I die less then 5 times and almost always have over 20 kills per match. Granted I only run Speed Tanked suits, so I basically run over 250 shields (but have crap armor unless I'm on gal scout) and run over 10.7 m/s all the time. But Scouts are slightly flexible so choose your pick, but the important thing is to have fun while on the scout. I've found myself getting frustrated enough times, but you have a lot of fun doing it.

Gallente and caldari is just free kill mode. You just wait for people to look the other way and you get free kills.
Minmatar and amarr scouts are hard mode.
Any scout brick tanked is easy to use though.

The first fit is set up for scanning, 2 complex extenders, precision enhancer, 2 range amps and a profile dampener. Advanced ACR, Proto Nova Knives, F-45 RE's, Ishukone Cloak Field, basic flux grenades.
The second fit is the speed tank, three complex kincats, two enhanced extenders, one complex, combat rifle, Ishukone Nova Knives. No cloak or anything else ((PG is maxed out >.< ))
I don't usually play around with these fits at all, though they are my two favorites. Most of my scouts actually do have quite a bit more health, but I don't use them as often unless I want to screw around. I've been thinking about swapping out one of the range amps for a complex reactive plate on the first fit and getting rid of a shield extender in order to pop on another precision enhancer ((Getting tired of Gallente scouts with no dampeners fitted getting past my scans just because they're cloaked))
Nova Knives are best sidearm.
