Well, I decided to try NKs out but I only have ZN-28 knives unlocked. However, I do have the SP to get them to proto, but I'm unsure if it's worth the SP investment. Could you guys help me with my current fit. As of now, I'm running:
Scout g/1 Series
Complex Sidearm Damage Mods x2
Complex Profile Dampener x2
Basic CPU Upgrade
ZN-28 NKs
SMG
Flux Grenades
Remote Explosives
Ishukone Cloak Field
As you can see, there is no tank on my suit. I also didn't add any KinCats because I needed the extra low slot for a CPU upgrade. In all, this setup is built around stealth, and the complex damps and proto cloak ensure that I don't get seen. However, the suit is squishy and not as fast as I'd like it to be. The damage mods might also seem excessive, but I found that they actually help considering I don't have any proficiency in NKs. To the experienced knifers, what can I do to improve this fit? Should I just give up since I'm not a MinScout?
I'm a little hesitant to transfer this setup to my Scout gk.0 because I generally don't run proto suits unless I have an accompanying proto weapon. Also, I'm pretty broke so I wouldn't be able to sustain running a fit that I have little experience with. Any help is much appreciated. |

For me I have the proto with only 1 prof. Without Damage Mods It Basically Destroys everything, only thing I can't kill is a fully armor tanked heavy(1300+ehp or something greater) But i take em out quick with the second swipe un charged, so ya they are pretty good. Although I'm not really an experienced Knifer. |

I try to even out the hp with my adv fit. When I knife I usually use:
Scout g/1
1 complex shield extender
1 advanced precision enhancer
2 enhanced kin cats
1 enhanced profile dampener
Ishukone knives
M209 Assault smg/ tt3 assault scrambler pistol
Flux
Arn cloak field
This fit works well enough for me, the only problem I have is that i always miss my slashes and the people I meant to knife now know I'm behind them and blap me as I go for a second. Can someone teach me how to get good at knifing?

Use an advanced cloak to fit better mods

Probably silly question - have you maxed out your core skills to get the most CPU possible?

Adv knives really only work on minjas because of the bonus.
If you really want to do some damage with knives on a different race, you are best off going proto.
This is how a minja feels

I have all core, passives, modules, equipment, 3 suits, and 3 weapons with all related skills completely maxed out... |
