Well, this video does a great job of illustrating why there needs to be some sort of animation for getting into and out of vehicles. Hopping into an LAV the moment someone shoots you should not be a solution to avoid someone actively shooting you.

You wouldn't know this because you are never in squad with me but I am constantly calling corp mates out for using bullshit tactics. So yes, I tell them to cut that crap out, I'm telling you, and I'm telling CCP.

It has nothing to do with fairness. As you pointed out I can do it too. No, my issue with people doing this is it gives them too easy of a way of escaping firefights and does nothing to increase the games fun for the majority of players. Just like snipers in the redline and tankers when they have been unkillable, players hopping into LAVs the moment they take damage has too great of a decrease on their risk to keep the risk reward equation balanced.
By adding in an entrance/exit animation it would make the use of transport vehicles more tactical. Players would have to use them carefully knowing that getting in or out could mean them getting killed quickly and easily. This would result in a better risk reward balance than what we currently have.
While it is not common for competetive shooters to have entry and exit animations for vehicles (I think Titan Fall does btw) that does not mean that CCP shouldn't man up and be a leader in this area.
