Looking for a good corp to join. I can heal, have fair gear, and would prefer to join groups that work as a team.
I do not have a mic. I cannot afford to buy a headset (rent and food have to be priorities or I shall become homeless and die of starvation.) I can turn my chat volume on. But if all I am going to hear is your corp members constantly dropping f-bomb after f-bomb after f-bomb after f-bomb after f-bomb after f-bomb after f-bomb AFTER f-bomb, I will just turn chat volume off and possibly drop out of your corp if you demand I turn it back on. I've got better things to do then listen to immatures who are out of earshot of their parents.
My schedule is somewhat chaotic so I have no regular play time. I always try to play once a day to keep that bonus up.
I've got an Advanced nanite injector and skill level at 4. I have level 3 skill on repair tools and level 3 in Minmatar logistics suits. My weapon skills stink. And no matter what weapon I use, I cannot hit squat. I have no vehicles so you don't have to worry about me blowing up hackable targets with my tank and cost my team some war points. I cannot type very fast with a controller. But I do answer mail. I've done a few FW types but I have only ever seen victory in them one time. So, I've got zero ranking with any faction. I buy all my own stuff and don't need hand outs; I can earn my keep.
Bottom line for me: treat me with respect and you'll get it back along with plenty of heals and revives. Cuss me out, lead me in to traps where I'm killed over and over costing me equipment, and I won't heal or group with you.
Mail me or post here.
If only I knew it required you to buy a skill before you could actually hit your target...

Add chat channel Anime Empire, there you will be able to squad with people from various corporations and choose one from there, there is also leaning coalition, who will help teach people if needed.

I don't know how to add chat channels to the in-game DUST UI. All I see is Local, Corp, Team, Squad categories.
If only I knew it required you to buy a skill before you could actually hit your target...

There's a '+' icon below those categories. Select that, and it'll prompt you to enter the name of the channel.

Description:
EMPEROR is a multi-game clan prominent in the fighting genre looking to expand to First-Person-Shooters such as Dust 514.
We plan on partaking in Planetary Conquest once the necessary number of people has been reached and 250,000,000isk has been collected. As of 7/4/14 we have 159,209,373isk.
As of 7/5/14 we have 25 members. Of those 25 only 3 are currently PC ready, because of this we also currently have 9 ready mercenaries with extensive PC experience.
We have a ranking system in THE 3MPERORS. Roles played in the corporation (Director, Personal Manager etc.) do not affect your rank; it is based on the time and effort you put into the corp & the dedication and Loyalty you show. As you rank up you will have more say in corporation matters and affairs along with other perks.
It goes as follows:
1. EMPEROR
2. GENERAL
3. OFFICER
4. LIETENANT
5. SOLDIER
If you wish to join just send an application, all are welcome.. mics, no mics, active, inactive.. you may join, but only the best may participate in Planetary Conquest.
Once you get more upgraded there's a good chance you could participate in the PC, acting as a team support.. just so you know, most of our active members have mics and some, sad to say, do get carried away sometimes and use what some may consider inappropriate language. Other than that, we're active, we really strive to conquer some territory in Planetary Conquest, lately we've been squading up a lot and doing Q-syncs to get better as a team and test our skills, while we are serious about winning and doing good ingame we also try to have fun with it as well, thanks.

I read your previous thread that was in the General Discussion section. I believe that Horizons' Edge is be a good fit for you. Even if it is just to 'check us out".
We are mainly based in the EST/CST regions. Our prime time hours are from 4pm-10pm. Our turnout on weekends fluctuates, but as of recent there has always been 2 squads worth of people willing to squad up and have fun.
Our SP ranges from 6 million through 37 million. A majority of our players are specialized into a certain role(s) and are very adept with them. Horizons' Edge members have been around for quite some time which I call the 3 stages of Dust. Open Beta veterans, Summer time sign ups, and New Year's recruits.

I must be doing something wrong. When I enter that channel name, I'm told it doesn't exist and do I want to create it. When I try to create it, I'm told I do not have permission to create a chat channel.

Your rules say you require TeamSpeak (on a PS3?) I do not have a headset for a PS3. Or was that for EVE Online?

That is for EVE Online only, PS3 does not require a headset.

Well, I guess the Caldari corp is not interested as they stopped responding to mail. I really don't want to join a corp with the word "Muffin" in it's name. Don't feel bad about that. I didn't want to join a WoW guild with "fluffy bunny" in it's name either.

But as DUST did not give me an instruction manual, I have to figure out some things on trial and error. I'd never thought about making my own chat channel. So I didn't know how.

Anyone is able to join, you can send a blank application. Smile
We have a 4% tax for now until we can gain some speed, then we will lower it.
Mics are not required, just activity.
If you want, we can squad up, do battles, etc.
Eventually we want to take a stab at some bigger things such as FW and even PC if that happens.
Just send Stonetread an application, and I will accept you whenever I come on, which is usually around once a day or so.
