And regarding the heavies, honestly it would be just fine if I could simply switch to an SMG and finish them off after taking them on with the ScR at range or from the flank but the because of the event I had to completely and utterly rely on the ScR to ensure I get the final shot with it, I found that I would switch to the SMG right before the overheat to keep DPS down and switch back to fire a couple of shots to finish them off. It is the reason why I try to fit an Ishuk SMG in all my Amarr Assault fits, its the perfect compliment to the ScR in my opinion.

I also have retired the Triage fit you suggested I use, i find it hard to rely on the equipment for each of my engagements as I prefer to be mobile so I went with double complex reps instead, loving that 4th low slot but all in all the suit is still... lacking..

The suggestion was help the suit excel in defense but not so much on offence for being less mobile. In Skirmish I would just stay near objectives with triage or just go to a red one and camp there for kills. Alldin Kan has joined the battle!

I guess it is a matter of preference but I have run all possible fits on the Amarr Assault and I've found that the double rep suit is the suit I have had the most success with, being able to replenish nearly 600 armor as quickly as other suits regain shields (per second without delay too) during any engagement downtime is immensely useful to me, especially when having to engage more than 1 or 2 opponents or sentinels since having full armor and shields before engaging is necessary to survive HMGs and other armor killing weapons, 3 plates will give you more armor sure but that just means you'll be easily kited by scouts and other suits simply because you are not fast enough to maintain distance or stay in cover and you're engagement window is reduced since your buffer will eventually go down the longer you are engaged in battle. Less plates also means more mobility which is important and not to be underestimated. Also I believe the SMG is a better sidearm for the Amarr Assault due to its damage profile, the fit I showed SAIRAX is what I used for the event since only ScR kills count but my main Assault fits always have an Ishukone Assault SMG to complement the ScR; it truly is the sidearm to end all sidearms and it will make engaging heavies a lot easier by switching between the ScR and SMG to whittle down the mass of armor. But don't listen to me, set your suit up based on your strengths. This suit is perfect for my play style, I am constantly assaulting and constantly moving, having moderate tank and mobility with exceptional regeneration ability (for the most part) allows me to assault with the assault suit, though sadly my scout suits still do that job better. Looking forward to Hotfix Charlie and what will be done to the Assaults, I'm excited for it to be more viable in PC Sorry for wall of text The Sinwarden of 0uter.Heaven
