I'm looking for a new suit, I have currently Gallente sentinel, commando and scout to 5 and assault to 3. I was thinking of getting logistics next but I wanted a general consensus about logi suits right now. I know the min logi is the medics choice but are there reasons to skill into the rest?

Amarr logi for links is a popular PC suit.
Personally I kind of regret not skilling gallente logi to give a viable non-scout scanning option, though this is less in demand.
Most cals seem to play slayer logi.

I use equipment without caring about the bonus. Gallente and Minmatar have more equipment slots, so they can do more things. Caldari has more high slots. Amarr has a Sidearm.
If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it.

Amarr logi. The 50% bonus to uplink timers and +10 to spawn limit are game changing. Not to mention the bonus to equipment helps fit that better sidearm and modules.
Since the nerf to uplinks in order to prevent spam (lol), the matches became a lot slower. It also made it harder on the loosing team to maintain/gain ground when it takes 15 seconds for blues to spawn.
You can get an uplink to 5 secs default, +25,+25, +25, +25... and with the sidearm, it means you can hold the line while your team spawns in behind you, +50, +50, +50, +50...more with donuts.
Minnmitar in Amarr armor.

min logi all the way... and not just for reps, cal and amar only get 3 slots but min and gal get 4 at proto.
yeah quicker link spawn is nice and cals get the hive buff but... meh ill take 4 slots and 10% to rep any day over those.
the amar side arm is nice though, and makes a good av suit with swarms. I use my Templar logi bpo for this. |

I like the caldari logi the most. But don't bother using anything but the ck.o if you go caldari, the slot layout for adv and std is dumb in my opinion. Otherwise go minmatar.

The best choice is to communicate with peeps you run with often. That said, if you have to ask and if you still don't have an answer, I suggest Minmatar, as it sounds like an all-around Logisuit. Decent high/low slots, 4 eq slots, bonus to repping/leash range, and the highest movement speed of the four make it a jack of all trades, capable of mobile repping and good positioning.
If you find you lack uplinks on a map, read up on the Tactical Logistics post, go Amarr Logi, and spam uplinks like a mofo, and use your sidearm in frontline combat. The Amarr Logi is a standard bearer. If you hardpoint often, similar to what one would do in Domination: Gallente Research Facility, then go Caldari. An added bonus is the module slots that allow for more damage or dampening.

Just got my adv cal logi. I'm really enjoying it, gotta skill a little more before I can get rep hives tho. So far I'm enjoying the role it fills, I bring ammo to those in need and can serve on the line as another rifle. I'm a bit squishier but I havea good and (relatively) clean needle as well as some good hives. Not the best logi, but fun. |

Cal gets 5 and 4...but you have to put a complex CPU upgrade anyway soo...

If you plan on going proto, consider Caldari or Gallente Logi as they have the best slot layouts at proto. The logi bonus might not be as good but they are much more interesting to fit.
If you're looking for a more supportive role or if you just want a good adv suit go with Minmatar.
I like the Minmatar one personally just because it's fast...the Amarr logi being the slowest medium suit makes it really frustrating to try and keep up with heavies or even just the rest of your team, forcing you to be a base defense player rather than a frontline assault. The uplink bonus is good, but it's only actually affecting your uplinks when you're in the suit ALIVE on the field. If you die or switch suits, the bonus goes away...meaning that you're stuck with the suit and can't switch roles easily.
