There are no plans to shut down Dust 514 There are plans to transfer as much value over from Dust 514 characters to Legion characters Legion is still under prototype phase, as in super pre alpha stage. Legion has not been green lit to become a game; its still feasible to be red lighted still but I put those chances at very slim as of this moment. Chances are if legion does get green lit you're going to find out about it before I do and that's how eager the dev team will be. We lost CCP Saberwing as a community manager there has yet to been a just as visible replacement but other Community managers are trying to help fill in some of the gap. CCP Ratatti is now in charge of Dust 514 updates; he has so far brought us Hotfix Alpha and Bravo. Charlie is under work right now but CPM elections and background work is causing a distraction so Charlie will be a bit more delayed than the gap between alpha and bravo was. Current focus is Hotfixes because they're considered low hanging fruit and easy turn around this does not mean that a client side patch would be impossible. In summary HAVs are not god modes anymore Armor Vehicles god mode bug fixed Weapon efficiency skill bug fixed Weapon slow down effect removed (mostly?) Plasma Cannons are scary Rifles are better balanced now Amarr suit slot discrepancies have been fixed Scouts adjusted a bit Cloaks nerfed Militia weapons added for many light weapons New Starter fits CPM Elections are around the corner; get your 60 hours in to be eligible to vote. Officer event is going on every weekend until event's end; score top kills for a specific weapon on a specific weekend and get a chance to name an officer weapons. CPM 0 Secretary Omni-Soldier, Forum Warrior, Annoying Artist \\= Advanced Gallente Logistics =// Unlocked

O man...in what world i was when they said that...everybody talks bad about dust...but all that rage is just because everybody love dust and really want it to become a good game. Truer words were never spoken. And no, I doubt Dust will be canceled, so long as people keep spending money on it. The Rouge Wedding was the nadir of the Dust 514 experience for a hell of a lot of people, so the bright side is that there's nowhere to go from here but up. That's if the NPE improves -- I can see a lot of the newer players sticking around if that happens, then start spending money, then, who knows? Silly game might be around longer than we think.
