I would take it into PC just for the Caldari Scouts and use it even if they stopped bringing them in. It has a really nice feel, and just try it out if you haven't already. Maybe...ask CCP to un-nerf it's range?

But I am also enjoying the Plasma Cannon and the Scrambler Rifle. I just like the TAR since I am able to control it in CQC (the bad hipfire doesn't affect me anymore) and it deals with armor tankers a lot better than the ScR.

Neither the SCR nor the TAR can kill a properly tanked heavy with one cycle. The TAR physically does not have enough damage in the clip, even if you damage mod it. The SCR is lol against armour heavies and you'll overheat way before killing it, unless you're using an Amarr assault in which case it's still quite possible that you'll overheat. You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake. Polka will never die.
