In other news, I will be murder-taxiing in a BPO LAV with a 1500 ISK Sentinel to cap out this weekend.
Because it's an 'innovative tactic'.

Are you a vet tanker? I know you're a good tanker but I don't remember seeing you in a tank till they became stupidly OP, then again I've fallen out of touch with most of the oceanic community thanks to our server being turned into a ghetto of boosters and lazy C****.
I miss the old 4v1 tank battles against science for death, they were so bad at it.

I used to tank back in beta. I've really fallen out from it in the last few months; I actually started speccing into infantry fully back in 1.5. Tanking is still my bread and butter; I'm better than most which is not necessarily something I can say about my infantry game (although I'm competent, I guess.)
I think my first real exposure to tanks was getting roflstomped by Racro's Surya back in chrome? And I'm nigh-positive I remember you tanking (specifically you; I know you've been tanking since then, but actually being owned by you) back then as well.
I wasn't around for closed beta, unfortunately. I think at this point, at any rate, I qualify for being a bittervet tanker :)
EDIT: also GTFO your off topic from my rage thread, pls. trying to have an angry moment here, gawd.

Why? I'm in a BPO LAV with BPO mods with a BPO Sentinel and an HMG. The odds of you killing my (free) LAV before I get close enough to you to gib you are slim.
That's beside the point though.
I don't see the difference between the general community's perception of LAV Heavies, the DS community's perception of Bumper Dropships and the HAV community's perception of JLAVs.

None of those three are innovative and I'd be hard-pressed to consider them a tactic.
They're all BS mechanics and they should all be removed. DS collision damage should be nerfed or even removed, LAV collision w/ HAVs shouldn't instagib the LAV and allow JLAVs to exist by extension, and HMG Heavies (well, anyone really) shouldn't be able to instantly hop out of an LAV to gib the poor sucker next to it.

Allow me to explain for you.
The LAV Heavy automatically teleports the Heavy outside his vehicle, this gives no chance of rebuke.
The Dropship ramming is more like kissing, a single tap, at any speed results in instant obliteration, this means there is no chance of rebuke.
Do you see the difference, one is counterable the other two are not.
My suit's a bit rusty, but that could just as easily be me!

Are you telling me that dropships and LAVs are now inaudible and do not show up on the overmap?
So basically a JLAV is approximately as uncounterable as they?
In my personal experience, both being in squad with ADS pilots and gunning for them, it is entirely possible to destroy a Gorgon before it rams you, aside from the fact that it's so appallingly slow compared to an ADS there's no comparison.
I managed to 1v1 a proto sentinel at 5m today with my Assault suit. It was a fluke and he was a bad, but the fact remains that it happened.
In that same vein, I would like to point out that the so-called 'counter' the vast majority of the community has been suggesting is teamwork. I'll just let that one sit there.
And finally, you'll probably say something like 'shoot it'.
I would do so happily were it actually a reliable way of killing the JLAV.
Do you know what the only consistent method I have ever found of detonating REs strapped to the front of a LAV? One-shotting it with a Particle Cannon, which is no longer possible.
Let alone when they stick the remotes in the passenger seat. Like anyone who is not a moron would do.
