Is extremely difficult.
They always use world of Warcraft and other such rubbish for inference.
They also generally can't grasp how the wars in eve are not que time instanced battle grounds.
They just don't get it.
They also don't understand that the market in eve is different to a generic auction house.
Tldr: much whining.
Just like every other Englishmen, I bath in tea, have no teeth and live in a castle.

I tell them it's this: Capitalism the Simulator.
Has a fully functioning economy, and a community that would make Niccolo Machiavelli proud. Combine that with a well balanced PvP Spaceship action and set in the future, it's a game that's a blast to play.

Having to bunny hop(bad) because your generator is too wimpy? Get a heavier one and watch yourself FLY.(good)
Running out of ammo too much? Stop being an Eve guy and carry some non-DPS weaponry, or go Heavy Biped/Tank.
Edit: even then they go "but how do 180 noskopezz?"
All i do from there is facepalm and tell them to give up on life.
