Only having time to play a few hours this weekend, i noticed the 5x sp was total and not per match.
I would just like to say, WHY? I was going to get a min combat pack and omega. Now, not interested.
I think we need US community members to make the events up. CCP your events are just getting more zzzzzzz

They do such a horrible job of announcing the events. they don't send emails to the mailing list announcing the events for the month, so you have to check almost weekly to know what is happening that week. It's hard for events to attract people if no one knows about them. |

Not agreeing with other criticue above, but that is spot on.
Personally though, I guess this SP event was decided in short time.

Check the forums daily. Keep a tab open on your phone (if you got a smartphone). All it takes is a few seconds to see if there's a new 'announcement.'

Sure they do, but the people checking the forums are not the ones they need to advertise the events to. I suspect most players, particularly those that are taking an extended break from the game, are not checking the forums. One of the benefits of the events for CCP is to try to draw people back into the game. There have been a couple of big events that they did announce through email that enticed me to come back to dust after a break.
I am pleased with the hotfix changes overall and happy they are still having events, but a little more forethought into the events so they can on a monthly basis send an email with a link to a list of the events for the next month would deliver good ROI given that the effort would be quite low.

you mean 5x sp for warpoints, as in every hack you get 500 sp for that 100 warpoints and 250 sp for every kill
and no extra for the time in game
