my chosen race is amarr
i chose this because i didnt know it affected starter fits etc, i thought every race has same slot load out
so ive always hoped we could change race, i would go caldari...........
anyways , i logged in today and its a caldari in the amarr quarters, i got excited, but when i checked my starter fits, its still amarr
i figure it must be an error or maybe ccp is trollin us? |

Actually, I found out about this while messing around with a second character. You always look like whatever your favorite fitting is. But if you don't have a favorite fitting then the game defaults to you looking like a Caldari. At least it always has for me.

You probably picked a Caldari suit as your favorite? Your favorite suit is the one you show up as in both your quarters and the warbarge.

Yeah, I kind if got lucky when I first picked my race. Just read the info and liked the Gallente/Intaki were about so I picked them.
Back when the Caldari assault was amazing, the Gallente scout suit was UP, the Amarr heavy was un-kill-able(but turned slow) and the Minmatar logi was a Logi.

I don't think Forever was trying to be mean or anything. I think he/she just meant that they knew about the appearance based on your favorite fitting thing, but that wasn't what happened this time, and Forever was confused. ,(>_>), |

If you like the looks of a suit, create a fit for it and favorite it. That way you walk in it outside of battle.
Just don't deploy it EVER if it is something rare because you could lose it.  |
