I honestly gave up partially in the event, is there any way you (CCP) can make some sort of daily leaderboard to show who has the most kills with a certain weapon? :P It would encourage me to continue

Hells yeah! Hard to chase the dragon when you don't know how far away it is. And just watching the isk drop without knowing what your investment is doing sucks! It would be nice to know who the competition is and where my efforts have placed me in the ranking.
Maybe not daily, but weekend stats at the least...pretty, pretty please (sprinkles & cherries & all that bs)!

Releasing stats on who's winning only promotes people to go out and 'smash it', if you weren't going to make an attempt anyways stats might promote you to do so just by no lifing harder.
Releasing names means you just look at the leader boards too.
Rather than doing the best you can, releasing stats skews the nature of the contest.

That is a really dumb argument against releasing some stats. This is a competition and if you plan on winning by grinding 23hrs a day more power to you.

Possibly the Plasma Cannon too...
I'm no lifing two weekends, one for each weapon. Not holding back at all.
My advice? Try for another weapon and don't waste your time. The Mass Driver is already mine <3

I don't like exact numbers (just in case I'm ahead, I don't want anyone pulling an all-nighter to pass me), but announcing names at the end of every weekend, and ONLY that weekend, would be cool.
What I'm saying is that if someone is leading in weekend one, didn't play in weekend 2 (but their record keeps them leading), don't list them as the weekend 2 leader, just name whoever got the best for that weekend and that weekend only.

We just need the same thing Sabrewing did for the million clone challenge.
A daily post with like the top 5 for each weapon. They already said the script for picking the winner had been tested so it should not be hard.

My question is who is running the CR?
I haven't seen too many in the killfeed (Short of mine, but I had other things to do this weekend. I might give it another go next weekend.)

Idk, the top players have great tactics. I also have been right behind them for most of the day, repping them. We pull back when we need to and push forward when it's to our advantage. Number two in the leaderboards is Tiberious, and a proto steamrolls when there are two Minnie logis on em.

There is a easy (and little tricky) way to track this event for ccp/us.
Market data :)
1. This is only for proto weapons and .... ppl die with it.
2. People who run this must buy proto weapons.
3. You say yea I buy 1000000000 proto weapon... yes, but proto weapon are not cheap and with three week it is big factor.
So... for almost 3 weeks who buy most of one wepon will be at top.
Question: I use only officer...
A. your bad. You dont have as much weapon as ppl use/do kill with proto wariants. If you run out of it no chance to get at top.
(Even if it is Thale ;)
Question: I use only AUR...
A. Make sure that you have enough AUR. If you strat use ISK wariants... you dont catch top players. AUR and ISK wariants kills dont stack ;)

I have used the mass driver almost exclusively since the beginning of open beta so I would love to name it but sadly I don't have the time also used the PLC since it was released and I am good with it but don't have the time for that either. Cant think of any good names for either at the moment anyway. Good luck with the MD just pick a decent name not "Leet MD" or other such nonsense please.
On a semi related note in my few games over the weekend I saw one player in a few matches (with and against) and all he was using was a thales so I am guessing he is going for the sniper one but the funny part is every match he would get 1 or 2 kills then as soon as someone put a shot within about 10m of him he would quit no attempt at relocation whatsoever just quit as soon as he was in danger, naturally next time I saw this guy on my team I shot the wall next to him and he quit lol thinking it was a red I did this in about 3 matches it was truly hilarious.

I saw that, I got him twice yesterday with my PLC (sent him a mail saying "My Mass Driver is Bigger"). You may have some stiff competition Shayz, he really is going hard.
