I've found trying different weapons helps when you start to get frustrated. Try switching to a MD or a LR (or if you have good timing, a PLC). He fought your space forces for two weeks before his fleet was destroyed and his ship was taking critical damage. His only two options were explode, or explode taking as many gallente as possible with him. Also, since the gallente were bombing caldari prime I'm sure he wanted to return the favor. What did you think about our combat methods when we fought our way back to caldari prime and forced your government to surrender to our demands? to the OP, I havent been able to play for like a month now and I don't even want to think about how bad I'm going to be getting back in my python. I'm hoping, no...praying that its like riding a bike and ill be able to fly like an ace as soon as I get into my first battle but I'm a little nervous.

Just play a few ambush matches with cheap gear and your favorite weapons and you'll get back into it soon enough. Perhaps pick up an HMG or another easy to use weapon until your aim comes back... or just keep taking that break and let the passive SP work for you. Nova Knives are best sidearm.
