Man do I feel ya. After my first 10 or so games of trying to MD people, I gave up on moved to my SR seeing as how its the only weapon I have at Prof. V. With 2 Complex Damage Mods and my abundance of once underpriced Charge SRs, I was struggling to kill quite a number of ADV and even some STD suits. Proto seemed impossible to take down unless I was shooting at a Scout, and each match was so littered with Heavies that I said, "Fuck it," and quit my attempt at the event altogether. Aiming for headshots with a controller is so bad, and I'm too much of a wimp to bring my Thale's out because Thale's equals targets for dropships.
