CCP is just trying to drain your ISK in the event... I mean, if they wanted it to be an actual event they would make it so it benefits more than 0.2% of the overall playerbase.

I've got over 200 Wyrikomi Swarm Launchers along with the 350 AUR Commandos that I won from that Commando event.
The only way for CCP to drain my ISK is if I act like a total scrub.

At least it adds some competition to the endless grinding, and im sure its buffed the playerbase a lot - i wouldnt be playing so much this weekend if it weren't for this event. |

You do realize that in order to lose isk running proto you have to be REALLY bad at this game

Not really. Been pubbing all day and ambush matches when you're farming kills I probably average 15 kills and 3 deaths. but that's still 3 proto suits lost. Making isk when you can only lose MAYBE 2 suits max before running negative in ambush, which is the most efficient way to farm kills IMO, gives you little room to make a profit.

I agree... most of them will just burn through isk... but I know a certain heavy I've been repping who's avg score is 50/1... he isn't wasting anything.... |
