I have seen many team members fall in battle while a minja was nearby, running at the attacker. If the minja carried a ranged weapon, then he could have taken the attacker out before the team member was killed. So the question stands, does a warrior with a 1 foot attack radius offer much to the team?

yes, especially when it can fking down a heavy in 1 seconds... Then again, the heavy can down him in .001.

I don't know where you get this idea that just because we carry knives that we don't also carry ranged weapons.
I carry a CR on my minja fits precisely because my knives aren't good outside of 2 meters. Most others do the same, whether it be a pistol, SMG, Magsec or something else.
This is how a minja feels

I use minmatar scout is PC... Went 20-4 defending a whole point by myself and help from a couple of orbitals. Died 4 times to team kill. to me, it is one of my favorite scouts especailly since heavy spam is up.

And if you think being able to quickly hack objectives and CRUs doesn't help your team, maybe you need to rethink the game you are playing.
Please don't take offense. It is merely a question. I have seen many minjas standing by while team mates have fallen. I have nothing against minjas. I'm simply wondering how effective they are.
