How many kills to earn the right...

Obviously the Rifles are going to be in the high hundreds, if not thousands, but what about the rest of them? I mean Swarms will maybe break 100? They need to be in the vehicle to earn a Swarm kill. How many tankers and pilots actually go down with the ship? If everyone is going for weapon kills, how many vehicles will actually be around to try and pop? I would be very surprised to see the Laser Rifle or Mass Driver over 500. Forge Gun? The Assault is best for infantry, however it is ineligible for this challenge. Will it break 200? Plasma Cannon? A tough weapon to master for sure. Can anyone break 300 kills? These numbers were pulled out of my ass like 87.3% of stats on the internet, but what do you all think will be enough kills to earn the title of "Ultimate No-Lifer for a Weekend"? Scrub, I will get 200 laser kills per day, 600 total at minimum. Amarr are the good guys.

Given that there time frame to complete a high score will be 69 hours (3 days minus 3 hours of downtime), and given that an Ambush match can be played roughly on a frequency of once every 15 minutes, counting for time in-between, the event has enough time to play 276 matches. That is about 4 kills per match to get 1000 and 8 kills per match to get 2000. Just imagine all the people going for that Officer Combat Rifle! I imagine some people will not sleep, make every one of those 276 matches. Amarr are the good guys.

Tanks and dropships still take a lot of effort to solo, and drivers/pilots often bail, which means you get the vehicle kill (not assist if lucky), but not necessarily a merc kill. LAVs are good, especially if they are loaded up with mercs. Easy to take down quickly, before mercs can bail. LAVs are a tasty treat for my Swarms. Plus even for a Swarmer, I don't run it all the time, I split between that and Logi or sometimes even a Heavy or Scout depending on the circumstances. Going all Swarms for every game for an unlikely reward, not worth it to me. Anyway, good luck to those competing for the honor of naming the officer weapons. Sure the average user like me might get 40 CR kills over a weekend. But I'm sure this event is going to come down to outliers - and if there is a running tally we proably will see daylight between the couple of contenders and those help filling their quota.
