If you remember the skill stacking existed before the 1.7 changes where the ads didn't have such intense bonuses. They probably just forgot. I'd even wadger they didn't know, and its only now that they will find out due to the ever increasing ads are op threads. To be fair the assault dropship skill stacking is op and should be removed. Though the other three turret skills should remain stackable for dedicated gunners. I'm curious as to how you feel about this dust fiend.

I'd rather none of them stacked, and it just used the highest, but I'd be ok with everything stacking that isn't Damage and Rate of Fire. Those two absolutely should not stack. The others are more or less support skills and I suppose would be alright to keep stacking. Also, thanks Texs Red for the numbers breakdown.
