edit: what's this about the Militia? I obviously haven't been keeping up with the times.
WINMATAR, the alliance, and flag ship group behind the WINMATAR catch phrase, actively switched sides from the Minmatar Militia and now is current in the Amarr Militia...... fighting against the Minmatar.......

Really kills the mood.
The Minmatar are actually not a Republic at the moment.
The Tribal Council made an announcement about this a few months back.

I might give it another try, but queing on the Minmatar side regularly exceeds the 10 min threshold. doesn't help that my normal playtime is directly after downtime. Aus primetime FTL

Was bored. Like order......another way to mock the Gallente and Minmatar for being so crappy, but also mainly because I want to draw a rough idea of how many players are distributed between what factions and which corps support who.

A few weeks ago, actually, two PIE guys tried to disturb my plexing. https://zkillboard.com/kill/39339687/https://zkillboard.com/kill/39339678/Seemed they were just coming back from an OB run, saw my noob killboard and thought they'd pick on me. HEY THATS ME AND AERO!
LOL!
So you were the Vexor. Yeah that was when Aero and I learnt what Ancillary Armour Repair Units were, and received our list of ships we should and should not engage until we have more PvP skills.

I think I was still only 1 week into EVE at the time as well.

I know what's those do but what's the catch with them?.
They are armour repair units you load with charges that provide significant repairs every time they are activated but have a cool down as the reloading of the charges kicked in, however careful use of it yields incredibly high EHP.
And their reps are very difficult to break. Now when we jumped Vysion.... Aero didn't have any T2 modules as you can see by his kill main and neither of us had Thermodynamics, nor the same gunnery skills, or even implants.
We both do now.
I mean the purest example is that my DPS on my Imperial Slicer used to be something like 79.9 its now with my implants and skills closing 111.6 with one more level of Amarr Frigate to go. When I jumped Vysion I think my DPS was something like 240 with Conflags, Aeros was significantly less at something like 180 with Multifrequency.
Under the same circumstances if we jumped Vysion today I think we would have exchanged one Destroyer for his Cruiser.
I hope to see you again Vysion

I literally just log on and sort my skill que and won't be doing combat until my lord has deemed me ok for stuff. Hehe.
AS long as you have the skills to support that Hurricane well its great you are training for it..... if you don't that is one expensive ship you are going to lose.
