IMO scrambler pistols are in the "Goldylocks" zone. Just right. But then again I use dual SCR pistols.

did more dps via headshots at longer ranges than any other sidearm and some light weapons (there was no point using a shotgun when the ScP did its job, better, at a longer range)
Insanely ammo efficient

Scrambler Pistol never needed a nerf to ROF. Compare it to the combat rifle which will drop a merc in a few lightning-quick bursts.
Now it is just sluggish and a bore to use. The adrenaline is gone, the joy diminished.

LOL - the gun is still amazing despite being a sidearm, its argueably the second best after the SMG, and IMO these are the only two sidearms which its possible to dualwield.
If anything, the Ion pistol needs a serious buff, I never see it in use and after testing it myself I can definately understand why....
