Just played my first game after update (Due to the corrupt file issue and the first thing I did was try out the TAC AR because of the ROF increase.
Those that know me know that I am primarily a SCR user because I prefer simi auto rifles, and often get accused of using a modded controller with it. Even did a video on a mil ISK bet to prove otherwise. I was a strong TAC AR user before Chromosome, Didn't use it much in Chromosome because it drifted way to much. loved it in the beginning of Uprising, but when they nerfed the ROF below what I was comfortable outputting I had too much trouble using it and not misfiring. I did several post asking for an increase from 400 rpm to 480 rpm to put it into a sweet spot timing wise.
500 rpm is PERFECT. If you are an old TAC user try it out!
Thank you Ratti for this change. Even though I don't have a BPO, or there isn't even a STD version of the TAC, I had 100+ GLUs left over from early uprising that I'll be dusting off. Now if I could just convince you to put out a version that doesn't have that stupid ACOG we'd be in business.

Same, 17k is too much compared to the free BPO that performs just as well now that I've used it for over a year. But it's still nice to see it usable again.

I can't quite get the hang of the Tact on my Gallente alt ... which is strange because I can handle SCR just fine .
I've been having fun with the Burst Plasma Rifle though .
No job is worth doing if you don't get paid in the end .

Personally I love it. It's way more reliable than a ScR and pound for ISK the TAR goes far.
Also check out the burst AR and breach AR I'm eating up the buffs to those like sugar on candy.

I never could stand the charge on Rail Rifles.
The Overheat on the Scrambler Rifle always messes up a perfectly good Kill Streak.
Assault Combat Rifles, of all of the rifles that have come since Chromosome, felt closest to the Assault Plasma Rifle, but that ammo consumption slightly removed its ease of operation.
I really want to git gud again with it, but the companion Assault Dropsuits are awful (compared to current Scouts and Heavies). Maybe I'll strap one on a Turbo Turtle for the practice, lulz, tears, and bacon.

Just git gud with aiming, then git gud with trigger finger. Loosen your finger that you use for shooting, and vibrate it. Practice aiming and you will eventually git gud with it.

It's all in trigger discipline and accuracy of your first shots. I got into a crazy long kill streak on Line Harvest the other day where I went through all of my ScR ammo without over heating in a single series of engagements.
I felt like such a badass for the first time ever on foot.
