Turrets
Large Missile Turrets -Increase splash radius to 2.0m (currently it's splash radius is smaller than a flaylock) -Decrease missile spread, currently it is awful at range due to missiles not being tight enough to hit anything at range (rail should still have superior range)
Large Blaster Turrets -Introduce a skill that reduces overall dispersion and dispersion decay, because having crazy dispersion after your second shot is insane.
Large Rail Turret -Increase range to 500 -introduce fall off damage after 300m, from 300m-400m there should be 75% damage from 400m on 50% or less damage -Reduce heat cost back to 6 so that it takes six shots to over heat
Feel free to critique will edit as I see ideas better than my own. I'll type up fixes to the other aspects to tanking later.

I actually don't mind that aspect of missiles; a change I'd like to see would be a damage nerf combined with a magazine size increase and a reload time decrease, so increasing its DoT while decreasing its blunt alpha damage and short-term DPS.
I don't really have an issue with blasters in their current state, although streamlining the dispersion might be nice instead of this massive leap.
And railguns I'm pretty happy with at the moment too; a STD rail has issues making a kill in a single overheat like it used to be. TTK at range has increased dramatically thanks to the railgun nerf, and blasters are far less problematic for infantry balance than they once were.
I'd also like a tweak to small blasters making them a bit more useful than they currently are; a range increase or dispersion decrease, perhaps.

I'd like missiles to be 3-4 shot bursts. As much as I like ganking tanks, it seems a bit OP. To compensate, though, I'd like a shotgun-style reload that loads one missiles at a time and can be interrupted mid reload by firing.

Personally, I like the full auto! But I can definitely see that a middle ground would be cool: keep the full auto, but reduce ROF somewhat, increase reload speed/shotgun style reload and normalise the damage such that we have a bigger clip but same amount of damage in it. |
