I need some place where I can literally get into a "Scout Squad" of Scouts that don't run just cloaked shotguns. I run Minmatar and Caldari Scouts, CalScout has both pistol and Magsec, and MinScout has NK and SMG. Anybody want to squad up with me? Also anybody who has any good chat channels for scouts and good scout corps, let me know. Shoot me a msg in game, or reply here, I'm still searching for a corp where I feel I belong. I've got a little it shy of 20M SP. I dont take this game too seriously, but there are times when I want a competitive style of play. Not to mention if I ever decided to dust off my ScR on my Assault Ak.0 again... Ima be breaking 50+ a game. I don't really use it that much anymore... Quite a shame actually.. If you want to call hard evidence an "excuse" go right ahead. Everyone knows it's a lot easier to kill a target that is not applying damage properly to you, but you are to it. If you don't believe me then try this, get a friend with an HMG, the highest rate of fire gun in the game, have him turn off AA, and swing the gun left and right while a scout with a kin dodges left and right through the stream of fire. Unless the gun stops directly over the scout, they will not incur any damage from strafing through what the game says should have been at least 3 bullets. I tested it, and the result was that damage was spasmodic at best, and about 50% of the time no damage was incurred, the rest of the time was either a shield flare and no damage, or 1 bullet worth of damage. http://youtu.be/dtXupQg77SU Dust to Dust, theme

As are shotty scouts. However, I do salute you for using an uncloaked knife fit, I do the same. I run a basic Combat rifle or my Syndicate in my light slot, but I prefer the CbR because it gives me extra range to deal with people camping high points. I had to somehow kill these gal scouts in early 1.8 . So yeah. It just happens to be that my setup ended up becoming FOTM later on, after I skilled into it.
