Since our Character Assets & Data are stored on the Tranquility Server, wouldn't it possible to create an online interface (such as a website) to trade items with other characters?
I'd be a lot of work though.

We can trade away our BPOS or collect them. We can actually move assets around! Having the market in place makes it drastically easier to iterate later. We can help our newbros out with aur gear. We can help them preview items. We can run lotteries. The amount of sand in the sandbox would increase almost immeasurably with a browser based market.

there is no sandbox it hasnt been built yet we have round based battle crap, and really a browser based market would only benifit the few people wiling to use a computer to buy sell and trade which would probly not be the newbros u speak just vets who dont mind using a semi third party out of game feture. if u really want sand in a sandbox u need to demand ccp begin working the sandbox framework for disticts. direct p2p trading in game aswell, a market should only be priority once we can move in around new eden. i dont know if uve ever played eve but the markets in eve are in every station and eve players can freely move from station to station where not all items can be found i one spot except for maby like 3 systems and even then u may have to hop stations in the same sysem to find what u bought. a market is just something we dont need currently, there are many thigs that i would rank above a player market racial vehicles and heavy weapons just to name a few at the top of my list |

I do play eve, Leovarian Lavitz is my eve toon. I'm a 2009 character, so a 5 year old toon. This suggestion is to work around their no client updates rule for right now. We can't move around in new eden, thus a universe merc market.
The people who would work on the WEB DESIGN are different from the people who do the GAME DESIGN.

The people who build the website are different from the people who make client updates. We can have racial weapons and secondary market at the same time!

Browser based secondary market! No resources from the ps3 development team! Players old and new will love you! Win win win

what if dust side we sell items to a npc trader where our quarters are, the someone eve side would have to transport (or buy and transport) the items to the sector it is being sold to and give (sell) the items to the npc there.

to much work, way to many steps involved, we just dont need a market as much as direct player trading, a market is something that should be saved for dust 2.5 |
