I was wondering about ways to use what we currently have in such a way to result in a new game mode.
so I was wondering if it would be possible to have a game mode where the objective is to hold all the points for X amount of time.
say have 3 objectives with no mcc, and have the game end if all 3 nodes were held for 1 minute.
another idea would be using a map like iron delta, put more cru's surrounding the outside of the compound, and about 5 objectives on the inside. the attacking team will have 10-15 minutes to get all objectives turned, the defending team would need to hold out for that amount of time.
defending team would have all the points hacked and be able to spawn on any of the objectives currently under their control, while the attacking team cannot spawn on any point even if they do control it.
the attacking team would have all the outside crus under their control and inside their red line so that they can push in from any side.
anyway mostly i'm curious what you are capable of without massive changes to the code? |

I like the idea. - It has a clear attacker versus defender dynamic. - Time limit keeps it from going too long. - Three objectives is reasonable for a 16 man team to take at the same time, and hold for 1 minute provided they are not too far apart.
Maps: - Manus Peak obviously (already a 3 objective map and provides a less urban option.) - Ashland with just A, B, & C. - Spine Crescent outside 3 Objectives. - Fracture Road: A, B, D is better I think than A, B, C. - Line Harvest: Any 3 out of the 4 would work. - Border Gulch : 1) C, B, E or 2) B, A, D (Either way a bit stretched out.)
- Any map with a large socket that fits 3 objectives: Impact Ridge Iron Delta Skim Junction Spine Crescent (again)
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

how about a mode thats like "RUSH" in Battlefield.. Fractured road could work well.Fractured road
First cap point (C)
attackers from MCC defenders from G4 spawnpoint
Second cap point (B)
Attackers from G4 spawn Defenders from H8 spawn
Third cap point (A)
attackers from F6 spawn defenders from F10 spawn
defenders spawn a little further away due to that particular cap point being very hard to cap most of the time and control of the L building there is mostly vital to success of capping.
Fourth Cap point
attackers from F10 defenders from G11/12
this is the last cap point so should favor the defenders more hence defenders being closer then attackers and both spawn much closer together to create a meat-grinder to bring emphasis on its importance
