So, what do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? Any interesting stories to share? Let's have some general PLC discussion.
To begin, I haven't been killed by a PLC user. I find it odd, especially since I've killed quite a few with mine. |

Back in my day, the PLC was used in a squad to launch volleys across hills because it was pretty useless for anything but that and light shows.

Now that the HORRIBLE lock has been changed on it, the PLC is amazing going up against Shield-Based HAVs.
If you're going up against some random red dot and miss you actually have a chance to switch weapons (quickly now!) and have time to fire back to defend yourself.
I've been waiting to say this since the PLC dropped: the thing is actually worth a damn now...finally.

The fact that if a tanker was to complain about getting killed by one, the community will jump on said tanker.
The fact that people who do not persist with it and do not invest SP into it will just put it down so it will not be FOTM or OP.
Dislikes:
I cannot 3 shot a turret.
That it takes up half my screen and view of end shot when reloading
Things to change:
Velocity of the plasma to differ at longer ranges i.e. it should speed up once its at the peak of the curve and the splash damage should increase.

Now that the delay is gone you can somewhat rapid fire them by using the sprint while reloading trick.
Using the botton of the reticle as your guide is the secret to using the PLC
oh, and jumping in the air before you fire (or firing from a ledge) allows you to fire in more of a straight line (less arc), and makes getting hits 100x easier.
Jumping past a person, turning, and then firing while mid-jump also works, and confuses the person a ton. You also start your reload animation as you hit the ground, which I usually finish off before I start sprinting again back around towards the enemy for another shot.

So, I was having one hell of a PLC duel with a Galmando earlier today. It was a constant back and forth of him stripping away my shields and me doing the same to him. The engagement lasted so long that we even stopped mid battle to throw out some nanohives to resupply. It was honestly the best fight I've ever been in.
Sadly, a few douchey redberries had to ruin everything as they both locked onto me and ended our fun. Shit was not cool. |

I've always said to my fps vets (use it like the rocket launcher from halo) jump up, shoot down. Lol I was having fun with it when it sucked, even more so now...

And the forge should be highest direst damage considering it is a railgun.
