I love my Dren suits. Who else runs Dren's and would you like to see CCP re-release the Dren package or maybe another BPO package. I am aware of the whole no future BPO's due to player market, but since there is no future market at the moment I say bring back BPO's.

I have them, I think the mistake they made was not keeping them and making 1 for all items.... |

Yeah, I would, some of my faith in CCP has been restored enough to consider spending actual money on this game again. I tried giving this game up, but I'm a crack-ho for Dust, for some damn reason, so I'll probably play until the servers die. I'd probably spring for BPO versions of:
Bloodraider LAV
Uplinks
Kin Cats (did those ever exist? can't remember)
profile dampeners
the Syndicate or Toxin SMG
a forge BPO
a assault suit like the Raven
a heavy suit like the Skinweave
or whatever Dren versions of those they would put out.
Dust 514... another leaf on the wind.

Yes. DREN assault/dual DREN scrambler pistols is hella fun. 
Nothing screams come and get me...like the assault suit does. 
I remember the activation times of those "Fizzle Pop" RE's from back in the day.

My 3x Codebreaker Min Scout I use to speed hack in PC uses a Dren Shotty.
Always fun to see that pop up in the killfeed in PC

I use my Dren gear a fair bit, especially when I want to be cheap.
I never found out why it's called Dren though. My guess is an homage to the film Splice. Or to Farscape (where Dren means ****) because it is low end gear. |

I think this is a good point and could benefit both the Players and CCP going forward.
We don't have to worry about flooding the economy with ISK because of BPO's, no one is expecting the ISK they hold now to be transferred to Legion.
BPO's can do no harm for the future of an economy that has an expiry date.
With that idea out of the way, players could then make an investment on BPO's to further their ability to field the best they can as the general hoarding mentality to save up 100 mil running BPO's will not exist. Will merely be the means to save and get the best Battlefield combos.
CCP has spent time making the assets and maintaining them even though they are not receiving any direct revenue from the items.
It's a win win.
P.S. I own all the BPO's.. Have used them under 120 times(Excluding Chromosome and my 'Exile').. But looking at it from both sides other then my own. |

Having offered these BPOs to previous generations of Dust 514 players, but not to the newer waves of recruits is wrong, CCP. Not only do older players have more SP, but they have unlimited powerful gear, while new players are forced to budget, have minimal skills and bonuses and less knowledge about the game. No wonder NPE is ridiculously impossible.

Yeah, I love my Sver suit, it's great.. I got one fitting that costs me 600 ISK. But all my BPOs are on this one, my main, and my heavy Punch has none. Would love to get at BPO heavy suit, forge gun, and SMG at least for it.
If CCP doesn't want to re-release, they could at least make gear tradable between players, like ISK is. I have friends that would be willing to flip me a SMG BPO, but there is no way to do it.

Everything here (except my Eon  ) plus all of the militia AR, SMG, ScP, and every militia module. Plus some vehicle ones.
