I love the ScR to death but I suck at aiming. Op level V Prof 3. Is there anything I can do to overall improve my aim??

Adjusting sensitivity is the biggest thing. Give yourself a higher one for hipfire so you can more quickly aim towards a general area, then have a very low sensitivity for your aiming down sights so you can use the fine aim.
It is very trial and error unfortunately, and takes time, but it is pretty much the only way I can think of. Maybe get yourself some of those joystick extenders as they enable you to use slighly larger movements even for fine aiming on screen.

As a dedicated laser rifle user who only recently delved into the scrambler rifle, all I can suggest at the moment is mouse + keyboard.
It's just excellent for precision weapons like this one. And I'm still working on my aim.

Oh so you wish to learn the secret arts of the "Scrubbler Rifle"..... welcome to the "Scrubblers" good sir.
Practice nailing that first shot. Just choose someone, hit them once, and run.
Once you nail that and first shot all the time..... Practice doing that with the charged shot...always walk around with 1 charged.
Once that happen practice firing volleys until you get a rough idea of your over heats.
Combine these lessons.

Aiming? Who aims with the Scrambler Rifle? Just spam it until the person dies like everyone else And try not to overheat. That too.
Joking aside, the way I usually aim the Scrambler is to wait for the person to stop moving for a second and then fire off a charged shot and few more into their skull. This kills about 99% of anything that isn't a heavy.
I have my sensitivity at like 70/80 hipfire and 50/60 ADS. One of the tricks I use a lot is to always unscope after every volley of shots, and strafe while I'm charging up the next few. I generally lock onto the enemy with hip fire (notice the little dot in the center of the reticle), ADS quickly, make a tiny adjustment towards their head, and volley off a few shots.
Once the enemy freaks out (if they didn't die of course) I charge at them and hipfire like crazy to finish off the rest of their HP
If you're not very good with headshots only ADS went he enemy is not moving or when you're at range. Trying to ADS with it in CQC is suicide. Try to keep range on your target while hipfiring though, as you don't want to be too close and make it even harder to aim it.
I'd say the best way (or at least the way the pros aim with it) is to only ADS when firing, and only to do it for controlled bursts so that you can keep your strafe speed up.

If you have trouble aiming, try the Assault variant. Its very hard to overheats and it has a good damage output |
