This is just an initial impression, but it very much feels like time to kill is way, way too low for a large variety of weapons with the improved standardized ranges. It seems to be why so many people are using nothing but heavies. It also feels like a lot of proto suits / weapons just really aren't all that worth it anymore.

Are you a scout? If you are, TTK on scouts should be pretty short.
If not, do you notice what you are dying to? With the return of the AR, my guess is that more and more people will be moving closer into all weapons' optimals meaning all weapons will be doing max DPS. Before, a lot of engagements were happening in the weapons' effective ranges, reducing the DPS.
Focus on detection and outmanuevering your opponent rather than relying on TTK to save you. |

used to do it before the buff if you had proto or where shooting a std senti before the changes... At least the lower tiered badly fit sentinels. I am seeing a lot of PLC talk lately. I am glad it's finally worthy.

TTK feels too low to me with RR's, shotguns, HMG's, & occasionally burst CR's (you know, when guys run up on you and fire it like an ACR). Beyond that, I feel pretty good about gun balance right now.
RR ~ "I'm sitting 25-50m outside your optimal 2-3 shotting your armor off with a full auto weapon!"
SG ~ "I'm on a scout suit that makes almost no sound when I walk and what little is made can be masked by distant gunfire, so even without a cloak I can hit you twice before you can respond!"
HMG's ~ "I can watch your entire squad come through a door firing on me from 40m away and waste the lot of ya before I even heat up halfway!"
CR ~ "Modded controller or really good timing, either way I can zap all your HP off in an instant because I have the best damage profile in the game combined with the best accuracy and RoF for a rifle!"

I'm fine with the current TTK in general. Rifles are ok, specialist weapons are good in their niche. On sidearms i would:
- Decrease Magsec kick
- Give a little more ROF to ScP (not like before, but more than now)
- Decrease a little the damage of SMG
- General buff on flaylock pistol
Bolt pistol should be fine, i've not tried it after the range fix. Can't give my opinion on Ion pistol because i haven't used it a lot (i would decrease the dispersion)
The HMG needs a special paragraph, it should be toned down in several ways, damage output and ROF are very good but i would not touch them.
- Heat build up should be increased (i've never overheat, if not on purpose)
- Kick should be increased
- Dispersion must be reworked (you should be the king inside 20-25 meters, not 35-40)
- Turning speed should be toned down
This is what i would do, i can't explain it with math, but after almost 2 years, i think i have a general idea of game mechanics even without math.

ScP is already good if you are good at semi auto guns, magsec SMG is already good, SMG has the lowest DPS in the game, flaylock just leave that thing in the thrash its a menace when it had a buff so they should just remove it. |

This is what i would do, i can't explain it with math, but after almost 2 years, i think i have a general idea of game mechanics even without math. Gimping the SMG further would only be a hindrance to AV players. Buff the other sidearms, but at the very least leave the SMG alone if not buff it too.
A sidearm should be as deadly as any main weapon, just not as good for multiple targets. A revolver will kill a guy just as easily as a M4A1, but one is much better for multiple targets and ranged combat. These sidearms should mimic this.
