I set a new record today as well: I used the HMG sentinel combo
went 27-2 skirmish
(note: this is my first time running heavy suits, and is not my best game of all time, just best with a heavy)
I was also in a 3 man squad
my fit- militia min heavy suit
1x comp shield extender
1x comp kincat
1x republic HMG
1x militia scrambler pistol
1x militia locus grenade
it rapes face, and its very difficult to die with, especially if you run it like you would a scout (i.e. use tactics and positioning to gain an advantage)
My conclusions from playing so far-HMG is in need of a nerf, but sentinels and heavies themselves seem to be balanced, at least at MLT, shotgun hit detection is still horrendous, perhaps even more so, flay lock pistol is worse than the PLC, and PLC projectile speed is too slow still. I love the new MLT weapons, and the ScR.... it rapes face, perhaps even more so than the boundless CR...(TBD). AR's seem very powerful...maybe a little bit too powerful, but i won't comment on it yet.
What all Minjas are thinking as they play...
