I have taken off almost all the Complex Shield Extenders from my fits. For only 18 or so less shields, the Enhanced versions do just fine. They're cheaper to fit and allow for better optimization of my ADV and STD suits. I'm quite happy.
What are your takes on this? Will you continue to run Complex Shields? I know they still have a place on my PROTO fits, but if ever I need an extra CPU or PG boost, I'll have no problems switching out one or two of the Complex extenders for an Enhanced. |

ENH & ADV is almost always the better investment.
The cost at PRO just isn't worth the investment for the small improvements - especially if you're mostly playing pubs.
PC will afford you the ability to "waste" that ISK on better equipment.

Now that they're not garbage, yea, I'll probably be using Advanced more (though I think they may be what I use on most of my Non-Proto suits as my Minmatar suits just don't like to have a bunch of fitting room).
I think I'm over Dust now...

For fun, I made this fit to test out in game.
Scout c/1 series
Enhanced shields x2
Complex shield x1
Complex plates x2
Bk-42 ACR
SMG
Flux Nades
Compact Nanos x2
It's a scrub fit, but it sure does well. It can scan, it can rep, it can strafe, and it has 729 eHP. Thanks advanced shields!
