Ran an ambush today againt 2 full squads of Nyain San.
That's not the case here..
At first both teams spawned at a fair distance apart from each other. But soon we were bombarded with orbitals.
Having no uplinks set further away my squad decided to deploy using the oh so wonderful 'Smart Deploy' hoping we would spawn at a safer location. BUT of course we were wrong.
Death after death we continued to deploy IN THE SAME LOCATION >:(
Why is it that smart deploy is based off of where most of your team is located?
Why can't it be based off of a fair distance away from the enemies?
I understand that it would make sense for the first couple of times, but it makes no sense to deploy in front of the entire enemy team after being taken out by 2 orbitals, and then finally being deployed much further away when our team was left with 5 clones
:/

Here's how I win Ambush.
-Load up ADV Galscout with kincats, guaged, and stable Viziam links.
-Make sure I'm one of the first to spawn in, and then deploy an uplink on spot.
-Next, run the opposite direction the team is going and proceed to place uplinks 100m apart from each other on the edges of the map.
-Lastly, repeat this process after getting killed, but load up an identical fitting with viziam flux and quantum links.
Nyain San and Smart Deploy are no threats to me. |

You have to take note of the distance. Many teams can't hold the line
