So if I save his tank/ ADS from being stolen and hacked and try to leave it for him else where or use it as an asset for our team, this being significantly better than letting the enemy team have it, he'll just blow it up and kill me not only depriving him of the ISK he was too stupid to not to hold on to but also to lose his team a valuable asset?

I, too, have saved a team member's vehicle many a time, but you know that is a very rare occurrence. I'd prefer blowing the bastard to bits. I have had hundreds of vehicles stolen, and not once has a mate "saved" my vehicle from harms way.
Even so you lost your own vehicle through your own bad luck or stupidity..... why deprive your team of a potentially valuable asset?

Why do you even care then? If someone takes your vehicle it was your mistake for not being in a position to enter it during the 15 seconds you normally have, or getting out to do something else.
Can you blame other players from other FPS where vehicles are a sparse commodity? You have to be insanely quick in Battlefield to get in a tank in most matches......
Your vehicle, your assets, your responsibility to ensure your vehicle is manned and not stolen.
You are asking to be able to sadistically punish the ignorant or opportunistic cause you are a little pissed.....
