There is this heavy in Opus Arcana....he uses a six kin burst and his name is Proctillon or something like that. Find out what he uses. He also chases you around objectives like a scout. Most beast heavy I've seen in this game so far....only ran into one time but was thoroughly impressed.

I haven't really used my Heavy in a while, but I usually run this:
Sentinel ak.0
Complex Shield Energizer Complex Shield Extender
Complex Armor Repairer x2 Complex Armor Plates
Six Kin Burst HMG Kaalakiota Bolt Pistol Core Locus Grenades
It's not as "tanky" as some other Heavies, but the Six Kin does well against the likes of armor stacked GalSents. |

BRB EDIT: MinmatarCaldariGallente (Heavy Weapon slot is reserved for a flamethrower ) Amarr (Dat near 1000 DPS) The Caldari and Minmatar Heavies will look better with the Shield changes. I like to think of the Caldari as being a pain with Assault Forges from a distance, constantly raining down splash damage and direct shots on people. Minmatar should be hit and run, with good speed and shield regen. Six Kin is made to kill people quickly. Gallente should be a CQC powerhouse. It needs a flamethrower, and that 20hp/s repair rate really should help it on the front lines. Amarr is basically just a walking turret. 1000 DPS with 2x Damage mods, and around 1650 total HP, this guy is a walking tank. I tried to stay close to the spirit of each race with the heavies, and each runs a racial sidearm
I like all your thematic fits.

The guy from Opus Arcana is Postillionen.... you way well know him as 'Viscen Minora', sometimes 'Swenla', Sometimes 'Ensorceller', sometimes 'Elme Mcpwner'.... either way, your going to die quickly.
He runs a secret mod called 'Crazy Cat Lady'.... not sure that you will be able to find anything similar. |

For a proto Gal...
HMG is Proto unless you are specifically going heavy hunting, then Burst Proto. Sidearm is Proto Bolt Pistol. High is a Complex Heavy D-Mod as it will serve you much better then some 72 extra shields... Lows are four Complex Plates if with logi-bro and squad, otherwise swap two of those for complex armor reps. grenade is flux, always and forever flux, as it allows you to even the playing field against Ammar sents, and make Cal Sents a non-factor.
Forge Fits are another matter entirely though...

I can only speak to Gallente Heavies at the moment, but I'm liking 2 Complex Reppers and 2 Complex Plates (especially if I'm not in a Logi squad or running solo) with Complex Damage in the High.
I also regularly use a Militia Minmatar Heavy with a Complex KinCat and a AHMG, CR, or AR when the enemy is using ranged weapons to keep us off of the point.
My next move is the Sentinel aK.0 with 1 Repper, 2 Plates, 2 Damage for point defense against Heavy zergs.

Heavy fits are eternally going to make me feel like they arent complex enough to be worth mentioning.. That said, i use a damage mod and 2 kincats and 2 repairers, with a six kin burst. The fit wont be worth much to you for knowing, you can probably put together how useful those modules would be without someone mentioning it.
In my opinion though, If you do not have a logistics, dont use plates, ever. The base health heavies have will net you enough to get by if you can use cover and use speed instead to outplay other heavies. The six kin HMG is also the most powerful damaging gun in the game, and that is why it would make sense to put on a hit and run heavy suit. |

Kincats are actually remarkably effective on heavies.

I only run Minmatar and Amarr, and both of these are solo fits. If I have a decicated logi on my team I will take off an armor repair.
ak.0 Boundless HMG Bolt Pistol
2x damage mods 1x plate (two if I have a logi) 2x armor reps
mk.0 Six Kin burst HMG Bolt pistol
2x damage mods (maximize burst damage) 1x energizer (considering two after hotfix bravo) 1x sprint mod (two if I have a logi) 1x armor rep
Burst is good if you have a speedy suit. Boundless is better for sweeping multiple players in an area.

This man knows what he is talking about. For the longest time I was always running with kin Kats on my heavy, but with the new reps, I have been running a plate with two reps on my ak.o. This gives a slightly deeper armor pool to engage multiple heavies and walk out alive and the double reps get back to the fight rather quickly. Six kin for the win!!
