I briefly glanced at the first page and don't see any real big whines or gripes on tanks anymore. So after the nerf did the meta change so that tanks are considered UP or are they OP still? Or are they fairly balanced. I played my tank alt right after the change and they seemed a little UP to me especially the harsh range nerf on the railguns. The hardener nerf seemed pretty excessive as well.
What is the consensus now? |

Rails are OP against other tanks. With the hardner nerf the DMG mods need to go. Or you mean blasters? Passed about 30m the spread is terrible but I hear if you slightly tap it then it's fine.

most still say op but there are tanks they are suppose to be Superior to infantry

Hardeners and Blasters got nerfed. Been reading the forums and people are whining about armor and repair modules now. Eventually tanks will be reduced to a go kart with a gun. |

Well, here are my recent experiences forging solo.
Sicas die easy. Like 3 shots from IAFG easy.
Somas take a fourth shot, which can sometimes be annoying to make.
Gunnlogis vary from three shots to nigh-impenetrable shield buffer. Those 6k shield monstrosities mightn't fare so well vs HAVs, but my forge has serious problems breaching them. Once you do get the shields down, though, two packed AV nades (preferably EX-11 or higher.
Madrugars vary from four shots to unkillable also. They tend to be far more durable against infantry AV, which is a right pain. The rep stacking ones are hard, but the 2x rep 1x hard ones are even worse, IMO. That might be because they've got an Ion Cannon on top, though.
If you're forging, you should be mostly okay. Bring a friend and a DAU and everything will be fine.
If you're swarming, good luck. You'll probably need a friend. You will definitely need some supplementary damage in the form of AV or Flux nades. Proxes are unreliable against HAVs (low speed means they often spot them before exploding, though they work just fine against LAVs) but you might find REs to be your cup of tea. I CBF with REs on HAVs, myself.
Jihad Jeeping still works, if you're a scrub.
If you have no option but this, do it with a Baloch and a Fuel Injector. It mightn't be as cheap as you'd prefer, but Baloch is heavier, so it's more likely to hit the target in such a way as to explode and detonate the REs.
GL, HF, make as many Ion Madrugars cry as you can.
